Yeah that works but there are others in the system that you have probably found that are not listed this is what we need.

In addition to those listed above, I also use these:

Food - lists restaurants

I'm Hungry - as above

Go Home (as opposed to just Home) - sets navigation to Home Quick Route 1 normally

Mark Point - blue flag indicator for a spot you want to pin

Quick Route 1, 2 or 3

One or two may be listed in Help, but they are the ones I usually use. I too would like to see ones people have stumbled upon.

  • 5 months later...

There's all the usual ones like

"Airports" - shows Airport Icons

"Petrol Stations", - shows petrol station icosn

"Car Parks" etc, etc, etc

Then there's "Zoom in/Zoom out" (does what it says to map display)

"Screen Off" - Does exactly that !!! (to turn it on say something like "Map mode" to bring up the map)

"Heading" changes the mode to North up or heading up mode

"Suspend Guidence" and "Resume guidence" does exactly that (this saves the GPS recalculating the route if you pull off into services or into a petrol station etc. It retains the route even after turning the engine off. When you jump back in just say "Resume guidence"

I shall think of some more I regularly use later...

Cheers

The Ed

'Warp factor four' does, but the traffic cop on the M4 today didn't believe me

Then tried 'Beam me up Scotty' but unfortunately that didn't :D

The second generation IS is getting too common...there were three of us in a convoy on the M4 today.
