Car Polishing....

Recommended Posts

Someone on another post (I forget who, sorry) mentioned about the buffers that you can get from Halfords/Argos etc. etc.

I've never used one before, and so was after everybody's opinion on them?

I'm very very VERY careful of my car, and a bit of a perfectionist to be honest, so I'm used to spending hours upon hours getting it just right - but wondered if anyone's had good experiences / bad experiences with them, and if you'd recommend getting one (and if so which one!?!)

Thanks for any comments at all

Tony

I guess you have to be really careful you don't have any dirt on them or you'll end up with huge circles the car. I'm a but paranoid given the fragility of the Lexus paint.....

Are the buffer pads easy to clean?

Yep i've got one and cant recommend em highly enough

so esy to use,comes with (2)applicators (1)polishing.

just pour the polish on to the pad, offer up to bodywork

work in criss cross action cover car then change pad to

polishing, take off then go over hard access areas, door

handles, intake by foglights, door shuts etc by hand

then wax..........easy peasy for poultry money!!!!!!!!!

the secret is to let the machine do the work dont press down

on bodywork, does'nt leave any swirl marks

can wash, polish and wax car in 90 mins easy!!

cloths wash out in machine.

Results:check out page 75 in the gallery!!!!!!

sorry for long explination,go on a bit dont i

cheers Pete :D :D
