Here's another of my latest mods, just got around to fitting these lovely Stainless Steel dials today. Not too difficult to do, fiddley more than anthing........Big thanks goes to Jason for supplying them :whistling:

Oh one more thing, how dull does the "L" look on the steering wheel!!!! Really needs something to bring it to life so to speak..............Anyone got any ideas or anything coming out to rectify that?? I've seen Carbon Fibre inserts for the rear badge "L" on eBay, doubt they would fit the steering wheel "L".........but something along those lines.

Anyway here's the pics:

Cheers guys........You know what the more I look at that "L" on the steering wheel the more I hate it!!......Here's the Carbon infill I was talking about:

Carbon Fibre "L" filler

I wonder if it pulls off?? Maybe I could spray it or something???.......Off to give it a go.

Looking good mate :)

Get yourself the steering wheel centre logo off a post 2004 car from a breakers or something......the "L" on them is bright silver rather than the dark grey on the earlier cars (I do prefer the grey though to be honest :whistling: )

Cheers Jamie........I'd be intereted to see if Chris could get the shiny "L" for the steering wheel, be a nice easy mod.

I think Lee is right in saying not to put anything there that might fly off on impact if the air bag gets set off.......could do a bit of damage a plastic L coming at you at 120mph.

Best stick to the OEM for this one.

Jamie, isn't that £20 for 2 sets of the Carbon fibre inserts?? So if you only want 1 for the boot and goes halfs with someone it'll only cost ya a tenner.

Yep, they're nice. A very simple mod but so damn effective!

Keith :)

With the later model 'L' it is nicer but I'd leave well alone if you have the grey one. It would be no fun whatsoever to have a Lexus badge removed surgically - would make for a stonking Lexus X-ray though - a picture of a skull with a big Lexus badge in the middle!!!! (let's call it a Lexray!!)
