8 out of 10 for me for this.

1) Get the alloys sprayed in gold same as the paint work or change them to a nice chrome or silver set to go with the gold colour.

2) Get a chrome grill kit and some clear side indicators.

I have an eye for details.

This should look a lot better.

Also what's happened to the inside? Any pics?

My car is going through same process, but just need a few more parts to go on to make it complete. I've done all the electrics and mechnics and fitted some after market parts, But not quite ready for this website yet.

Will be ready for Japfeast in May for the show.

Thanks for your compliments!

I looked on eBay to change the front grill to chrome but instead they sent me out these crappy stick on chrome bits!!! looked tacky. If you know where i could look for the chrome grill i will certainly get one and same goes with the clear lenses

Bazgtr i bought some really hot looking alloys for the car but having problems with them, which i was very disappointed with, but ill get there. if not i will polish them up my self.

Strange! I got those 'tacky'plastic 'chrome strips for my Ser 3, and thought they looked just fine! As you are obviously a careful worker, fitting them flush to the grille edges makes the joins invisible, and it certainly looks indistinguishable from Chrome. After all, MOST 'Chrome' these days is plastic!

I was tempted by 'Body colour' wheels too. Try it!

Haven't looked at an early one for a while. Interesting how they've changed. Like both early AND Ser 4 now!

Enjoy the drive, knowing it's is 'ALL MY OWN WORK'!!!

Car looks really nice and I love the colour ( mine's described as bronze but I don't know if it was only available in Japan as a colour option).

All your hard work has finally paid off now enjoy the driving experience!

PS with that colour interior I would get some over mats as the carpets soon suffer or make passengers wipe their feet before getting in :whistling:

Hey Mat I might have something that goes with the brown interior if you would want it.

I have one gold coloured aluminum shift gate cover that replaces the blacks part around the gear stick with a new shinny one. £13 with postage(Bargain as it cost me £22 with shipping) if you want it. Can send you pics by email if you wanted to see it fitted. Not many around with this item on. Only see two of them in UK. One on my car and one in my hand.

You need 35 height tyres for your car and may have to roll out the arches. How's wide your rear alloys?

Also can get some door sills covers with the Lexus logo on them etched on chrome plates.
