Are My Heated Seats Broken?

Hey guys,

I'm 18 years old and my father has purchased a 2002 Lexus IS200 SE, as my first car.

It's got heated seats which I love, If I press the button takes like 3-5 minutes to get warm and it gets quite nice and warm,

But then after about 5-10 minutes, the seat will go cold again but the button will remain ON

Is this a common problem?

No thats quite normal, they heat up then stop and cool down, then heat up again,

Its to stop them burning out by heating up too much.

no problem at all- they heat up and cool down then heat up once more after a bit, its perfectly normal and nothing to worry about

i rekon very expensive i got my 53 plate IS200 sport when i just turned 19, held me lisence for year and half no NCB it ws £2800 fully comp in my name. now i got a years NCB it went down to £1400 rip off realy

i noticed my seats doing this, winter just gone. as said above they do switch on and off.
