HELP!

I spend ages when i polish and wax my car, and every time i do, the bumpers go bloody static on me! :tsktsk:

it makes no difference what polish or cloths i use, and it always looks terrible. :yack:

Any ideas as to how i can stop this?

try not using polish at all on your bumpers i just use wash and wax cause plastic never shines as good as metal painted anyway.i am happy with mine

Mine goes static too.... (as do all plastic bumpers).

Carry on as normal but afterwards, wipe the bumper over with a chamios leather or even just your hand. This earthing will remove the static.

I can't say I've noticed this static reaction when cleaning my bumpers

get one of those dangly rubber conductors ...that hangs under the car

that pic is in the US or Canada....look at the yellow centre line....hmmmmmmm, but driving on the left..could be australia then....but the car is LHD

so i will go for USA/Canada driving on the wrong side of the road

as much as i wish it was mine, it is unfortunatley not! :D

i just found a piccy and put it in until i can upload one of my motor, even though it is still absolutley bog standard! :mat:

I am looking to mod it very slightly, so when it's done, i will put some piccys on for you all! :winky:
