Anyone Else Wash Their Car

I must have looked a fool washing my car in the rain yesterday. It was starting to get dark too. I just couldn't stand it any more - after 3 very busy weeks I finally had time to wash the car and the alloys were black with muck and brake dust.

Wife thinks I'm mad :duh:

I took mine to the jet wash on Saturday in the rain...

(wasnt crazy enough to do it with a bucket)

I went to the IMO on Saturday. it didn't rain here but its frosted over this am... glad I aint going nowhere till Lunchtime...

Jo had to use the de-Icer this am. first time of the year!

My excuse: It wasn't raining (much) yesterday, and the car was covered with mud from a visit in the boonies on Saturday..... :yack: So I took the hose and the bucket. At least it looks nicely water-repelling in the rain today... B)

Me too. Some sniggers from the neighbours but I'm used to it now Feeling came back to my hands after only a couple of hours ;)

Excuse was it was covered in 'farm debris' from some country lanes.

Yes, they did wash it, but I drove to Manchester Airport early yesterday morning and so it got covered in salt and mud.

I thought I ought to try to keep it clean for at least the first month!!! :P

Oh yea... afterwards the washing machine broke and flooded the kitchen so it was a pretty moist day all round... :o

My car was absolutely filthy. I braved the cold weather on Sunday and washed it.

And the Brush as left bloody scratchs all over Looks like i'm spending next weekend getting them out

Not just me then - I've got new scratches every time I've used a jet wash which is why I don't use them on my lexus.

cant remember any time over the whole weekend when the rain stopped

just let nature do the washing !!
