I Need A Warranty

My 2001 is 200se is about 3years old in Jan and the warranty expires 1st jan. I need to extend it but when i had it serviced in august i was quoted £500 by Lexus Sheffield. Can anyone advise me of the best type of warranty to go for and how much they have paid. AA have quoted me £206 as a member but i dont know if the dreaded radio problem would be covered if it was to go. Any help guys

The radio warranty is extended to 4 years.

A lot of third party warranty products do not cover everything so check the small print.

stick with the lexus warranty cos u get the rac included!

warantee direct (on the web) gave a pretty good quote. I would advise at least looking at what they offer.

Not sure but i think you might be able to taylor it a bit too, if you ask.

You may also find the Lexus extended warantee is not as good as the first 3 yr jobby.

Warranty Wise (.co.uk) is what I use and several other mates aswell. try the site and see what you get but I can tell you they pay up, no limits.

I believe you would qualify for the premium cover, almost the same as a new one and you can pay a premium to cover main dealer labour rates.

warranty wise comes in at £189 1yr claims upto 2k

Warranty direct £204.85.

Both better than the £500 quoted by lex sheff. :D

Any reason why i would need to cover upto 5K. what could cost that much to replace
