  3. Hi Alex The screen in the LS400s is know to be quite reliable and I have not some across any commn problems with them I would start with simple battery test - Get it tested to make sure all the cells are holding charge I would also recommend removing the negative terminal for 10 minutes to reset all electrics - but before you do so familiarise yourself with the reconnect/restart procedure becuase i think yours being a 2000 the immobilisor will probably kick in. hope this helps

  7. There was also a topic some time ago where the owner had the same problem and even after Lexus had replaced the heating elements under warranty the fault was still present, from what I remember the cause was eventually traced to a faulty relay. Try as Peter suggests first and if the problem persists I will try and find the thread concerned.

  8. Interesting you say about the passenger seatbelt as I have this too and like you say it's very annoying because it's the only rattle in the car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. I have two Lexus, a Ls400 (19970 and a Ls430 (2000) both in really nice condition, finding it hard to decide which to store and which to keep in use. Cannot afford to run both, prob store the Ls400 as it will be a classic earlier. I already have beard and pension book so its just a waiting game now.
