  1. I've ordered mine from totalpda, and a new iPAQ 4150 to go with it. I ordered a navman unit from them in the past and they were very efficient, hopefully they'll be the same this time. Have you guys with the bluetooth unit hard wired it? Do you switch the bluetooth box on and off just when you need it? I was thinking of hard wiring the power so it would be on all the time the ignition is on, even when not using the ipaq.
  2. Is it TomTom III you've got or version II? I've just ordered III but seems there is a wait due to high demand.
  3. I had this the first time I filled up from new, the guage stayed on red, but eventually corrected itself after 20-30 minutes. It happened every few times I filled up. After chasing the dealer for 6 months they eventually said it needed the new dash ECU (and would wipe the milleage). I never did bother as I got used to it and didn't want the car to look like it had a dodgy history.
  4. One of the moderators lives in Warfield! They'll probably delete this thread now!
  5. For the MOT you could just say you had the number plates fitted before Jan 2003 when the new law came in.
  6. I've got the NavMan 3400. Its ok but it slow to get a location locl and the maps are getting out of date. I'm thinking of buying a newer iPAQ and getting a bluetooth gps. I have no problem hearing the current unit, its plenty loud enough.
  7. I know what you mean mate, I currently have no bathroom as I've ripped it out. New one hasn't arrived yet either!
  8. Do you have the base model, not the SE or Sport? They are the standard 16" wheels on the base model, or on the IS200 Sportscross. The wheels you want in the second pic are the 17" SE/Sport wheels. Keep an eye here for someone upgrading, or maybe try Ebay, although be carefull! There should be lots around but you may have trouble selling yours.
  9. Yep, all you've done there is confirm your email address is valid.
  10. I have both a SonyEricsson T610 (work provided) and my own Nokia 6600. I also have a Nokia bluetooth car kit. I think the SonyEricsson is a crap phone compared to the Nokia, although it is slightly smaller, the screen, camera, build quality and general usability is nothing like the Nokia. The Nokia is a phone I like using, the SonyEricsson annoys me when I ever I try and do the simplest thing. The t610 doesn't work well with the Nokia car kit either, but that's understandable I suppose. It doesn't mute the phone's microphone so you get a real echo. I've been waiting months for work to arrange the proper car kit to be fitted.
  11. Costco also sell them for a similar price!
  12. yup...........I agree it has now stopped.........no water anywhere......... need to find me a cheap plumber I DONT BELIEVE IT......................BOTH SAT ON SOFA....................NOISE FROM KITCHEN..........WATER HAS STARTED AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it the cold now? Or still the hot water?
  13. Sounds the same as my house, the only way to cut the hot water is to stop the cold feed to the tank. The hot water should stop straight away though.
  14. A week friday will be a year since this thread started!
  15. Where about's does he live? A member might be able to pop round for you and see if the car is still on his drive.
  16. That killed an hour of work on a friday afternoon!
  17. Yep apparenly no-one wants a manual Merc second hand. That's probably more do to with them making crap manual boxes and foot operated parking brakes which are hell with manuals apparently.
  18. Yep still loving it! Its the first auto I've had and was hesitant of making the switch from a manual, but I've no regrets, makes commuter driving so much easier.
  19. I much prefer the IS300 as its a 5 speed auto and has controls on the steering wheel for manual gear change. I wasn't too keen on the 4-speed IS200 auto I had for a couple of days, but I did get used to it after a while.
