    This thread really made me laugh, that Metro looks awful. Yes I do remember the 6R4 (I've owned two metro's ) but I don't remember it looking that bad!

    Do you say the 'magic word' to activate the voice dialing? If not how do you do it? I've just changed from a Nokia 6310i to the T610 and noticed the bluetooth doesn't have as large a range, with the Nokia I could walk back into my house with the phone in my pocket and it would stay connected.

    How many miles do you get from a tank? 340 was the max for me.

    I thought you could disable the remote boot release, by the position of the key in the boot lock. Try turning the key 90 degrees (and then removing the key)

    Yep all gps detectors suffer from that. Even though I update mine regularly it still beeps at camera's that were removed several weeks before at roadworks on the M11, M1 and M6. The database's do eventually get updated but it takes a few weeks.

    Well at least the labour rate would be cheaper at the ford garage. The difference in price between a 2.0 X-Type and 2.0 Mondeo first service is huge.

    I asked the dealer to do this for me and they said they didn't know how.

    I test drove a Jag a while back, and the figures the dealer gave me had 'ford finance' on them.

    What country are you in? In the UK no phone company will give you two sim cars with one number, although I've heard companies in Germany do.
