Well it had to come - kids at a school have got to get permission off of the recipient BEFORE they can lob a snowball at them
How did we manage to grow up without all of these mamby pamby rules?
The chip-set problem has been known about for at least two years-no help I know. Its something to do with the USB modem drawing too much power from the mother-board and causing the PC to crash (well more than normal) I thought you could still use it if you had a USB hub??? B)
Hi Amit, welcome to the club. I had mine Diamond Brighted from new as one of the freebees from the dealer, nearly run out of polish now. I would reccomend it, just a quick splash and rinse and its back to gleeming
I notice it doesn't cover emptying your own ash-tray
Apart from that it all seems to be covered. You could take it to your local dealer for comparison. Let us know :D
Working ntill 4 them off to church for the Christingle with the neigbhbours kids. THEN we can start drinking. Just me and the wife over the holidays. Get the chance to try my new surround sound processor
Cheers all, have a good one.
I should worry more about eating at McDonalds
Seriously, my IS has done 13K and it is as sweet as a nut. Sounds like a well oiled sowing machine, so i would not wait another 6K, just in case.
This is going to upset a lot of people, as the latest J.D.Power survey puts the Lexus IS200 top dog in Germany home of some Bavarian motor company. "The Lexus IS200 (probably Platinum Ice) achieved first place in the J.D.Power and Associates 2002 German Customer Satisfaction Study"(Daily Telegraph) :D :D :D
Today Germany-tommorrow the World :hohoho: :hohoho: :hohoho:
I agree with Claire that you should not be accelerating too fast when you know the conditions are going to be slippery. The snow button reduces the throttle responce so that you can gently apply the power. It worked fine for me last year when we had those two days of snow around the new-year (avator picture), but i wasnt trying to beat the TC, just work with it.
Hi welcome to the club, mine is also a 2001 IS200, but i havn't noticed any wind problems at any speed. In fact it is one of the things my wife and I first noticed, how very quiet it is at speed, and how you can have a conversation without SHOUTING
I try and wash "my baby" once a week, but the weather is not always helpful. It makes us feel better seeing our car gleaming on the drive with all the dirty company cars left neglected
One of the motoring programmes has already done tests on how fast you have to go to beet the speed trap (either Driven or 5th Gear). I think you need a Tornado GR1A :(1,452mph (2,336km/h) at 36,000ft (11,000m)) Thats if the camera can see you.
