What you want is a nice set of HID series two lights from a GS 430? I just so happen have a pair in the loft complete with blubs and the electrics... Make me an offer?

The car is fine and has not broken down. The reaction to the car has been alarming, where ever I leave it, it will have a crowd around it when I get back. I have had more people talk to me about it in the last 4 weeks than I did with 4 years of Lexus ownership. I have joined the TVR club as you would imagine, its much bigger than LOC with over 6500 paying members but then again has been going longer. The website forums are very poor in conpraison to the LOC. Not many posts and to few people using it. Its organised from what I can see very well and have local meets for the regions every month. The west midlands one get 30-40 cars turn up each month. It has a very professional glossy mag called TVR Sprint set to members every month etc. :D However most owners it would appear use the Petrol Heads website/forums which is similar to LOC. But LOC is still in mine mind one of the best Car forums out there.... Cheers All Sportie PS Still looking for a GS 300 sport as well....... :D

Great News, :D :D :D :D Lexus Birmingham has shut up shop.................... :) I had nothing but problems from this outfit and I am very happy to see it go. Lets hope the new centre in Sutton Coldfield (Sytner Group) will be better and know what customer service is ;)

I Modified my GS 430 with , Hiper exhausts, lowered it 30mm, fitted 18 TTE sport Wheels, Sport grill, Sport rear spolier. :D Told the insurance company abouy everything :D Cost..............Zero no increase at all, and everytime i did something they sent my a new certificate which cost them but not me. You must tell them everything or you risk loosing any claim your fault or not. :iraqi-info-minister:

I have received an invite today from Volvo to test drive their new car, Great I think not as quick as the 430 but nice...... Then I read the small print............ £175 :iraqi-info-minister: No way am I going to pay to test drive a Volvo Lexus have the right approach :D

Mine went on all three GS's I have owned, the 430's went in under a year. Its a known problem as Rodders has said................

Lets not forget how Lexus got it so wrong with the tyres oand suspension on the SC. The back seats actually slant forward and are useless. Now I was so very very close to buying one two months ago. until the kids tried to sit in the back etc :duh: Then I also remembered the "Lexus Problem" huge depreciation..... The one I was going to buy had done less than 3,000 miles and had areadly lost £17,000. So I walked away and now so glad I did :D Now don't get me wrong, I have owned three GS's in the last 5 years and will be buying a fourth as soon as I find the right one. I am a Lexus fan :) But the SC is an awfull car, how could Lexus get is so wrong :iraqi-info-minister: I have put my rose coloured glasses away for once.....

I have used bridgestones, yokohama's, pirelli's and Toyo's on GS's and have driven over 170,000 miles. Bridgestones, OK Yokoama, Poor grip, wear out quickly Pirelli, poor wet weather grip and expensive. Toyo, excellent grip, good wear, very good price My vote goes to the Toyo's, I have just removed bridgestones from my TVR and replaced then with Toyos as TVR now fit them as standard. Also Pirelli P6000 £108.30 each Yokohama A411 £115.70 each Toyo Proxes £57.40 each ;) There is just no contest in my opinion....... :D

The maxium speed limit on UK roads (MOTORWAYS ETC) is 70mph we all know that, so why do some people think they can justify that they can drive at 95mph. :iraqi-info-minister: My car is capable of 200+mph, do I drive it that quick? no way on a public road nor do I try and justify what speed I could drive it at on a public road cause the law says 70mph. :)

I have just booked a course of performance driving sessions as I am finding the new car quite a handfull. I thought the GS 430 was quick, how wrong I was. 156mph on any road is asking for trouble, I have booked a runway session to see how quick 200mph is as, it would frighten me to dead doing anything close to that speed on the road. Steve hit it right on the head when he reminded us it was a BMW Driver after all :D ;)
