    286 bhp in a mark 4 ls 400 isn't exactly wanting, Depending on where you read 6.2 or 6.7 secs to 60 & 155mph limited top end a'int to bad.

    Which presumably means there's something wrong with mine, time for some investigation..... Pre late 99 models only dip the left hand mirror. 2000 models should also auto fold.

    After 6 years of ownership I discovered that the metal panels are 2 skins laminated together with a membrane in between. ( does away with the thick heavy sound deadening material without which you would get panel boom) clever these Jap designers.

    Hi VCAM is £35 on ebay or £50 with solar charger, I bought one 2 weeks ago, bit of a struggle to get the clips over the visor as they are a tight fit. well worth getting especially where I live.

    Try and find a used wing the same colour they are bolt on & that will be your best & cheapest option.

    Or buy Mikes lpg ls430 with shot suspension & put a second hand set of ls 400 shocks & springs on that.

    Hello its micro blistering no way to cure it as it is in the metal under the paint. Used wing of the same colour will be your best fix.

    Drive it & see is the only option (then cry when you see your ls being driven off down the road). The other option is turbo supercharge or nitro the ls

    It was originally 62k but was revised to 100k when the 430 came out with a 100k interval as its the same engine.

    Seems a really good buy, as for the cambelt original intervals were 67k so that would mean 2 but may have had a water pump fail & the belt changed as a mater of course. Well worth a look at that money with that history.

    Check the pipe that runs in front of the radiator down the bottom as these rust & leak. can be fixed with a piece of copper tube .
