  1. Firstly sorry to hear this.. something similar happened to my Girlfriend about a year ago and she had loads of problems trying to sort this over a weekend (she is with natwest) I would have thought that the bank would deal with it a lot better when in the branch but if it may help going in during a weekday when the correct departments are open.. before leaving i would suggest making an appoinment with a branch manager and laying the facts out as you have done here. If they dont offer any form of compensation which coudl be a redcution on charges or something similar then move elsewhere but it will all depend on the people in the branch you deal with..
  2. as title (i think thats what they called) i want to replace the orange bulbs on the side and headlights are they any good and if so which ones have u got??

  5. austin montego - 1.3 L - 1995 i bought this a write off and 'fixed' it up myself which included wrapping a aheavy duty chain around a tree, loging it to the fromt end and reversing very slowly to pull it out! mine wasnt this nice it was a S@@@y sky blue with a white bonnet, silver bumper, red wing and headlights held in place with duck tape and B&H boxes.. wish i had a picture!! ot lasted about 6 months before being wriiten of again! volvo 480 turbo - 1998.. electical problems that kept on catching fire but it was very quick!! loved the pop up lights! Rover 214 GSI - 2000 this was "special" as it had an alarm and central lockiing!! as well as a twin cam 16v which i didnt understand what this meant until the head gasget blew!! three rebuilds later and i ended up leaving half the engine in the boot! Honda Civic 1.4 gl- 2001 the love affair for japanees cars had started.. bought off my aunt who had bought off a young army guy and had it on her drive for about 2 years because it was too quick.. turned it he had race prepped it, bored the engine, bigger carbs and so forth.. didnt look it but ate golf gtis and the like for breakfast!! Mazda Xedos - 2.0 v6 - 2002 the came the exec cars.. a lot of car for the money!! Peugeot 306 1.9TD - 2004 havig no money meant a more economical car so bought this.. stil the most reliable trouble free car i have known, bought off and sold back to my old manager!! was also the start of serious ICE installs.. Mazda Xedos - 2.0 v6 - 2006 loved it so much i went back to one! LEXUS IS200 SPORT - 2007 Despite the fuel guzzeling the best car one yet!
  6. wanted to say something but speechless.. worst thing is if they did catch the @@@@@@ who did it they prob get a slap on the wrist.. you get punished more for being a legit owner in pareking fines, speeding fines and all the other 'stealth' taxes we get hit by...
  7. dont complain.. i have been getting 13p per mile for the last 4 years.. wasnt so bad in the old 306 diesel but now its costing me about 4 per litre to drive for work.. makes me think about getting a company car butthen you get taxed heavily on that too!!
  8. are there any specific ones that are on that concern you? if so take a pic and will look at what it means..
  9. ac isnt easy.. will take a lot of time, patience and perserverance.. there is a walkthrough that stav sent me (pm your email add and will send) but i opted for a slightly diff approach which i can talk you through.. be prepared its not for the faint hearted!!
  10. its only availiable to exisiting 02 subscribers, quite pricey and not the fastest availiable.. although the hotspots are a good addition. it is stricly occasional then maybe a PAUG version might be a good option?
  11. if its an se or sport then it has a seperate amp in the passenger footwell.. you can wire a sub in, although very crudely, form the rear speaker wiring and an amp with a high level input or an OEM conversion module.
  12. if its purely for a back up and the odd checking of stuff whilst on teh move, assuming the coverage is decent in your area 3 do a service starting form £10 per month.. even better, if you are am existing customer or know somebody that is then you get 50% each month.. so 3gb limit at £7.50 pm and a free usb modem and you can chose which one you want! bets deal out at the moment..
  13. all the netowrks offer it now.. pretty much all the same just depends on the coverage on your area.. be carefull too as they have a usage cap and its very expensive when u go over.. t-mobile one is good and you get warned if u go over the cap and not charged the first time..
  14. not hard work if you know what you are doing and that lead looks just like then one on ebay so will do the trick!!
  15. doesnt everybody know where it is?? good point!! Units 1 & 2, Phoenix House Neachells Lane Wolverhampton WV11 3PX

  17. a place in nottingham.. had probs getting the correct fittings though.. from what i remember only the black were availiable in corect fitments.. make sure wherever you get them from they do the fitting too..
  18. i have the rs5's in black.. took a long time to get the right ofset and all that stuff though... they look a bit expensive on there to.
  19. Bass Junkies are having there open day on the 21st July. I will be attending, hopefully with the new install 100% complete so you can all see the fruits of my labours! its a great day and would be a nice place for a LOC meet too!! There will be a DB drag 'Sound Off' competition, demo cars from all the top car audio manufacturers, freebies and giveaways and maybe a mini funfair!! there are alwasy fantastic discounts on these days too so anybody looking to upgrade there ICE will got a good bargain! there is also a retail park nearby with loads of foodplaces and a nice pub! anybody interetsed in attending??
  20. glad it all got sorted... firm but polite complaints rule the day!!
  21. you can do transfers online.. i have done it a few times but takes three days,, you should have been able to do it over the phone..
  22. try the hi-fonis stuff.. slightly larger than what you mentioned but v good value and sounds great! put these amps in the GF megane and was pleasently surprised!! z series (zeus) for 2 or 4 channel and b series (brutus) for the subs.. the hifonics logo on the fornt lights up in blue! looks sweet.. there xx series amps are competition winners!
  23. is the unit in some kind of demo mode or does it need a security 'key'.. my kenwwod does exctly this if the power has been lost to and the demos/security feature is still on...
  24. i have a 32" LCD and a 42" PLASMA. Both made by LG. Happy with both but the LCD does get the bedroom hot! I thinl on fast moving things like sports and for deep blacks with fast colour response then its still plasma. But as geoffers said, its purely down to what looks best to you. Be carefull in the shop especially if its dixons as they hook some of there stuff up terrible and wont get a true comparisson.
  25. sorry, i meant y did somebody do that?? its just a logo with holes drilled in it and the leds fitted! if it was backlight or the full logo in led or somekind of electroluminescent stuff it might look ok.. that looks poor..
