  1. Thay are not mate, the wheel in the 1st post/pic is not the styling kit alloy, its a Khan wheel, trust me :winky: Gord the kahn rims you linked are 5 spoke, the ones in the pic are 6.. they must be the styling kit ones The Kahn RSR wheels are five spoke, the Khan RSS are six spoke, like the original pic.
  2. No idea on the discounts other than going through the gold members area and phoning any that did. The factory size for the 10" rears is 275/35R18.
  3. Finally got my new springs to drop my Mk1 GS300 Sport back down to the proper Sport ride height. Will be fitting tomorrow hopefully, any hints or things to look out for that might catch me out? Any top tips etc greatfully recieved. Cheers Rick
  4. He could have mud flaps on the front so they would be fixed where the leading edge of the side skirts would go. DOH! stupid me!!!! i didnt think about the front! yes the mud flaps have to come off.. :shutit:

  6. My 2 wheeler lacks a bit of power but it is a rare beast
  7. I've used them almost exclusively for the last few years. Never had a problem with them and they always pitched up when they said they would.
  8. It looks like the sensors changed from 1 wire to 4 wire in '96 judging by a discussion I was having in another thread. Mine has 4 wires and is '96, a '95 had single wire sensors. As far as I know, the exhaust one is the same as the engine bay ones, so just go for a 3rd one of the type you have in the engine bay. That's the best price on a CAT i've seen so far in that link. The sensors can be sourced much cheaper from the US if you needed to though.
  9. There is some info on this in the knowledge base http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/knowledge...id=146&c=11
  10. Only thing I can think of is that the sport came in on 96, so maybe that tied in with some minor changes to the cars in general. I'm sure I've read somewhere that the auto gearbox changed slightly in 96 also. Mk1's didn't go out until 97 so it could only be an under the skin face lift on the electrics that could account for it I guess. You can't lose at that price either way.
  11. 4 wire loom so definately a 4 wire system. What year is your GS?
  12. I'll go check one of the connectors just incase mine has had 4 wire ones connected to single wire connector. I just checked the ends of the probe which had 4 wires. Be back in a mo'.
  13. Just checked. It has definately got 4 wires on the two in the engine bay. I would assume the one under the car has 4 too.
  14. Hi Mate, Mine is a Mk 1 too, I'll pop outside in a mo' with a torch and take another look.
  15. Can't see why not to try them. I'm sure when I looked at mine they had 4 wires, but I could be wrong. As long as the replacements have the right number of wires, and you are happy to cut and join wires to the existing connectors, then they should work no problem.
  16. The Lexus SC300 is the Toyota Soarer, not the same as the GS300/Aristo.
  17. He likes changing his ebay user name a lot too If you see anything from any of these names anywhere I would steer clear. harveys4321 23-Sep-07 Present starttune 11-May-07 23-Sep-07 stunettune 03-Apr-07 11-May-07 mystuffsok 14-Jul-06 03-Apr-07 signaturgraphs 05-Feb-06 14-Jul-06 autografix123 30-Dec-05 05-Feb-06 craigstartin2004 04-Jun-05 30-Dec-05
  18. Has he had his wheels/tyres checked/balanced? If he has a dent in his rim or a wheels has not been balanced properly, this could cause what he is getting. Like Aaron said, your noise could be the clutch release bearing.
  19. You can also drop Steve a PM and he will get to it quicker http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...p?showuser=1293
  20. Nice one. Just ordered a pair to see if they any better than the current LED sidelight bulbs I have.
  21. Yeah I agree about telling folk on here so they don't buy them when they can get it cheaper, my point was emailing the guy and asking him why they are so expensive or whatever, like the guy doesn't know already. He will be getting them from the dealer like everyone else who gets them cheap, or maybe he even works for a dealer. Does someone really expect him to say "Oh yeah, hang on, I'll drop the price to £35, cheers buddy". :P
