  1. Yeah the first yaris has a digital speedo projected onto a mirror so as to appear further away and make it easier to focus quickly on it. Had a Yaris as my 1st car.
  2. Yeah I've been blasting out the new Prodigy. Some of the songs are awesome but the album seems a little lazy to me. Not that i'm a music pro lol - theres just nothing on it as good as some of their old stuff. It is growing on me though.
  3. The camcon will work on the IS200 and you can bring the torque in lower down with it. However i'm not sure how much benefit you will get and it will drink more fuel. You'll need the camcon tuned on a rolling road for best results.
  4. Don't know anything about the seller. But wouldn't it be worth spending more for real HIDs?
  5. Did a short run to the supermarket yesterday, outside temp was 12c indicated by car. My scanguage shows instantaneous intake temp in centigrade. When i got to the shops the intake temp was 28c but the engine had only just warmed up. There was really bad traffice when i left and the temp was about 45c as i was slowly moving, getting down to about 35c when on the move. Not the most reliable of results but gives an idea. I'll try and get a better reading next time i'm on a long run. Either way your new intake isnt that bad at all.
  6. doubt wrap will do much for it: it's v short! A scoop should make a decent difference - might cost quite a bit though
  7. Not sure if i'll be able to get my scangauge to take an average intake temp reading. If i can i'll post up a standard intake with K&N reading for ya.
  8. Wow thats really cheap. Especially if you have a blue IS. These are normally £120 unpainted.
  9. Blueprint basically make the discs from what is essentially the "blueprint" of the OEM product from what I have gathered. When i was shopping around for droplinks the motorfactors i was talking to said they were just repackaged Lexus parts when i asked why they were priced the same - though i took that with a pinch of salt.
  10. Most people buy Denso here. SK20 is OEM long life part, IK20 has a better spark but lasts half the time IIRC.
  11. This is the TRD bodykit for the IS200. It is a genuine Toyota part and can be sourced from your dealer. Alternatively goto http://www.holdcroftshop.co.uk/ and you can buy it there.
  12. Yeah WIM can fit ARBs along with most other parts (fitted rear shocks, exhaust and arbs for me) along with being tyre/wheel & geo guru's. WIM are c£65ph. My front droplinks needed replacing c70k miles but the rears were fine. Droplinks are expensive though at about £35 a corner from lexus and i couldn't see OEM quality parts any cheaper. Those cusco bars use the original fittings and am not sure why they are pictured with bushes as IIRC they don't come with them. A word of warning on those though is that I think they will change the handling characteristics of the car as they stiffen the front up way more than the rear. I think this will make the car understeer more, wheras the C-One's retain the roughly the same handling as OEM just stiffer. I expect i've got something worng, someone will let me know......:)
  13. Yeah i saw that price when I was looking for ARBs, rang them up to check and they confirmed all prices are plus vat. Couldn't seem to find that info on the site when I looked.
  14. might well be interested - track time too: though i'm a beginner.
  15. yeah do the ARBs before a strut brace. Intake mods really don't up the performance much and the K&N panel filter is probs best bet if you dont care about the noise. ARBs cost quite a lot atm as the exchanged rates are poor. The C-ONE arbs are about £400 and budget about £100 - 150 for fitting. I know it sounds like a lot but it's worth it. Might be worth waiting untill there is a meet near you and going for a drive in someones with it done. You could always fit them yourself if your handy with a spanner. There's a guide somewhere on here.
  16. Dolby digital live plugin for my Sound Blaster X-Fi. Dolby digital surround sound from stereo all the time. Should have been free though.
  17. James lies! But he is worth the trip for his car skills............. just had my IS200 serviced and they pulled out all the stops for me.
  18. Prolex-uk supply the best induction kit IMO as it avoids the exhaust manifold and therefore gets colder air to the engine. But i just run a K&N panel filter as was recommended to you above. I have a blueflame exhaust and it makes a really nice noise with a small performance increase. Others on here like the HKS silent hipower but its v expensive. You will only need a new clutch after an SC upgrade once you've gone through the original. The original clutch will be fine initially (on TTE setup at least), you'll just go through it quicker. I'm not entirely sure what the difference between V & I 6 engines are except the physical cylinder layout. Hopefully someone can educate us both :) Ed
  19. oh i know it will be more than dave was selling them for - just would like to know how much. If it's only £100ish i might still take the plunge.
  20. The problem can be remidied by buying a set of clips from Lexus. The clips are there normally but tend to get thrown away by garages when changing pads. From memory its about £60 for all of them or they are about £6 each and there are 8 in total. My car is missing two - and i have the clips in my house but can't find them - it's driving me mad.
  21. Hopefully Dave Ellen's passing my email to the German Trader so i'll see how much he wants for one before they physically leave the country. I'll let you guys know.
  22. Cheers, Aztecbandit. 1 of my blue led dash bulbs has started flickering (think its just loose) but the light spread is crap so if im gonna open the dials again i'm gonna replace them all and was having trouble finding some decent led's. All bought now :D Really need to change my photo - car doesn't really look like that anymore.
