This would be really useful if we could get it set up. Need to include mileage and users type of driving style / conditions - ie lead right foot and contry lanes or gentle driver and motorways etc. There are many tyre review sites we could pinch format ideas from ...

Could it be that the whole Lexus ECU was swapped out at some point with one containing the black s/c unit - hence you can't find any sign of other wiring being disturbed from the silver / black swap ? Very spooky

One of my hates too - no belt no ride in my book - the number of unbelted / unsecure babies round here is crazy - and they never seem to get caught (or have crashes ).

Read somewhere that condensation can freeze causing a short - when it thaws the short goes. On a previous car when we had a similar cold weather / damp / thick oil / flat battery problem we park the car with the bonnet up in the sun all day - with the battery charged and engine "sundried" it started first time ... -
Not sure about NXT - not used it myself - do a search or wait till this evening when others come on-line - recall some using it and being impressed ... (Might have been RazRankin ?)

I did mine a couple if times - just washed it, clayed it and them used the 3 stage Meguairs routine - gives great results - you will be impressed - though it took me 8 hours first time round
