What is interesting here is just how long it is taking to remove the items from shelves (and in fact identify all the products in the first place). I work in the Pharma industry and if it took us that long we would be closed down !! -

Not heard of the failure on a Lexus before - though Audi / VW had loads of problems last year with this type of fault. How far did you drive to get to the dealers - it may have been dumping unburnt fuel onto the Cat which is not a good thing - guess someone more knowledgable than me will be on soon to comment ... -

I think it will probably be the small tube leading into the water pump - mine seemed to need replacing at every service - all warranty stuff so just had it done each time - if you look there will be a reddish crusty stain round pipe on top of pump to left of cam-belt cover if it is the same pipe ...

I'm going - Sunday 6 March AM. Funny thing is I am just changing the Lexus for a RAV - so no chance of buying a 3 Series ! Couldn't resist the chance to have a poodle round Rockingham though. Wonder how they will view a LOC mini-meet ...
