Sure you have already looked but some of the web-sites offer free first searches - not sure what the clauses are like but worth a look. Now I've said it I can't find the link - may have it saved on home PC - PM me to remind me to look if you need me to.

Right - I tried but failed I'm afraid - seems every search is logged and billed - can't get our guys to do a search without it being very strictly for our business - sorry.

Be warned - you'll even log-on when you've sold the Lex - I know I still am ...

Strange - I use it on my screen and have no smearing issues. Have you put it on / buff off / sprayed it and re-polished it - this seems to make it last longer and not smear ... Does make it harder work to put on though.

I have both the RA1 and B2 (OK I'm greedy ). RA1 was very good - simple to use and updated via modem (no home PC at the time) - my Dad then wanted one so he has the RA and I got the B2. B2 much neater to install and like the fact it can be unhooked and hidden easily - had one issue re: slow sat lock but very quickly resolved by origin who sent me a new aerial FOC overnight. Both work well - at least they have not missed any cameras so far - and can easily have the radar element detached in future.

Kawaski AR80 - 1981 - new Kawasaki Z400J3 - 1982 - new Ford Fiesta 1100cc - 1982 - 2nd hand Ford Fiesta 1300cc (CVH) - 1984 - new - cracking car at the time Ford Fiesta XR2 - 1988 - 2nd hand (one of my favourite cars) Ford Escort 1800 Zetec - 1993 - new (some much went wrong I could write a book) Rover 214si - 1995 - new - one of the first registered - cracking engine Toyota RAV4 3dr - 1998 - 2nd hand - great fun Lexus IS200SE - 2001 - 2nd hand - need I say anything ! Toyota RAV4 5dr - 2004 - 2nd hand - totally different but great ... Years are the dates I got them oldest 2nd hand ones were approx 1 year old except the Lexus which was 3 years old to the day when I picked it up.

Didn't someone else have a premature failure and the dealer / Lexus assisted with the bill in some way - worth doing a search methinks ...

Can you re-coat Hammerite - might just be my poor memory but I always thought you could not re-coat after 8 hours ...

Same here - smooth blue on the Lex now silver on my RAV - used thinners this time and it was much easier to paint on :)

Mine still updates OK - did the software upgrade thing a while back too. Oops - guess you didn't want to hear that They were really good when my unit was taking ages to lock-on so hopefully they will sort your problem out speedily too ...

Me and my poor sense of humour - least no offence was taken :D

Shame these events never get off the ground (I couldn't play due to leg surgery but would have come along in support). Regarding the charity side how about a proposal of adding 50p or £1 to the membership subs in support of a good cause ... ? Least it would multiply by the Gold membership numbers each year. Don't shoot me - just an idea
