Hi,as already mentioned by Ray,its not worth the bother or hassle and is uneconomic too,think the wiring loom is different as well,went down that route with my 1st IS 200,so on buying my 2nd one opted for the Navigator instead.

This sounds a bit over the top, why would he do this and how do you know for sure that this happened. The tech guy probably used all the oil you gave him and binned the 0.3ltr that was left over, I would. Lexus Hull were dodgy too, mmm, I think there's a little paranoia going on here. Hi,the latest version would be the 2010/11,you could try cheaptoyotaparts(on line)they will need your vin number,or send ACLex a pm as he should be able to help,or try ebay but you will need the disc/part number or you could end up buying the wrong disc as has happened to a few.

Hi yes updates(discs)are still available,however I would do a bit more homework/research and find out if you can actually fit the item you have found on ebay into a non sat nav car.Its pointless buying it if your brothers car does not have the various wiring connectors for the wiring loom to plug into,hope this helps.

Hi,what do you mean by after setting its keeps getting lost?As long as the disc works then its the correct disc for the car otherwise it wouldn't work.However bear in mind that the disc(2002 version)is now 9 years out of date and there have been a lot of changes to roads and their layout since then,so you really do need a more recent/updated disc,hope this helps. Thanks for the reply, regarding the SATNAV going of course, it will start out fine then anything from 2 miles it will go completely off course saying that I am in a completely different town that could be 30 miles away, would just updating the disc solve this problem? Hi,it might solve the wondering off course although I am not entirely sure,reason being that when you input an address into the system it usually shows several up options with the same street name but in different locations/towns - question is are you chosing the right one?I had a 2002 disc in mine which I updated last year to a 2009/10 version,however did not experience your problem.

Hi,with regards the sat nav,its near impossible fitting a non sat nav IS 200 with an OEM one,so you are better off going for an after market one.Some guys just buy the lexus housing and screen an have an after market sat nav installed into it but you need to know what you are doing though,however from time to time some do come up for sale.

Hello chances are that you have got the wrong disc,if my memory serves me right yours should be a CD disc and not DVD,hope this helps.

Hi,if its the same as the IS 200 than there are 2 bolts/screws you need to undo to gain access to the eject button.

Hi yes they are OEM,I bought a set from Lexus MK a couple of years ago for my IS 200(the centre caps now come colour coded).Apparently they no longer make the old "star" shaped ones which i prefer.

Hi,silly question but have you had a look at the balance and fader settings on your radio,as you can use them to direct where you want the sound for your stereo to come from?,that is you could have it set so that you only get sound from the front or rear or from both,hope this helps.

Hi,think i read somewhere on here that the last 3 digits of your vin number is your code(assuming the code has not been changed in the past)give it a try and see if it work.

Hi,I have used supermarket petrol for the last 12 years,as the nearest filling station to me is a supermarket one,in that time I have owned a Mazda 626,2 Mazda Xedos 6's and 2 Lexus IS 200's and have had no fuel related problem or issues(although in the last couple of years have only used the super unleaded),so i really dont see what the fuss is all about.Apparently the like of Esso and Morrisons etc all get their fuel from the same supplier,the main difference thereafter being the additives that are subsequently put in.

Hi not my cup of tea either,just seems we cant wait to join the bandwagon,all of a sudden its day-time running lights while some look good alot look awful,before that its was angel lights(BMW)why have a Lexus with angel lights,have you seen some of ther after-market the angel lights on some corsa etc ???? or the Lexus lights on some Vectras,Golfs,Renaults etc they just look awful.Better being original than a copy,and if a copy make it look better not worse,oh well everyone to their own i suppose.
