75k for a wheel bearing seems slightly premature for a Lexus but it may potentially be down to rear wheel steering if your car has that. I know my previous Merc C class needed wheel bearings at 77k so it seems about the right kind of mileage.

It usually tends to be the anti glare coating that gets scratched up Meguiars PlastX will be great on it and will remove the coating. You shouldnt have any signficant glare issues, especially on a small section like that. I removed the anti-glare coating on our IS300h Nav screen when we had it as it had marks on it like yours does and had no problems.

Small screwdriver works the best. Like the precision screwdrivers. I wouldn't remove them unless you're changing them

Disagree on both accounts The ride is perfectly balanced on the 20" wheels that these vehicles have. There is no increased risk of damage in my opinion on these wheels. They have a fairly chunky 55 profile sidewall anyway. Ive just bought tyres for my RX - there are a good 6-7 options. If it was 2 or 3 that would be entirely a different story

There's some massive profit margins associated with the servicing costs at Lexus though. I managed to get 3 services at Mercedes including a gearbox fluid change for £1k with their discount. Lexus now appear to be reluctant to give discounts and costs over £1.2k for 3 services on an RX which includes a lot of inspection rather than replacement.

You need to opt for standard winter tyres if thats what you want to ride on. Run flats arent needed

I wouldn't regard the automatic folding mirrors as a fault. It's entirely specification dependent and not a fault of the vehicle I would say that Lexus probably needs to address the servicing situation. It's always coming up on the forums as being ridiculously expensive for what you get especially on low mileage vehicles.

Essentially - you can still negotiate but the deals are pretty mediocre compared to previous years. VAG appear to honour the price on order. Lexus unfortunately do not. If you can, hold on and get a car in 1-2 years time. With rising inflation amongst other costs, there's only one way deals will be going in the future.

Theyll fit but using simple maths - A 255 width tyre is slightly over 10 inches. That means the sidewall has to curve in almost 1 inch on either side of the wheel. The tread might not sit flat and you'll probably get what they call a "balloon" look. Not to mention if you're wanting cross climate tyres for the all weather ability, you'll be hindering it by going for wider tyres in the first place. A narrower tyre is better in snow I should say Ive been using the OEM bridgestone in snow. Theyre summer tyres and are absolutely fine in dodgy conditions

Its 3 psi. And yes it definitely does! Different car mind but the merc dealer was putting 39 PSI in my C-Class. I reduced it to manufacturer 36psi and it was much improved. I can feel a similiar difference in the RX - more so over potholed roads to be honest. At 33PSI it almost seems too spongy to me

I think the benefit of the 2017 models is obviously the minor facelift and the slight tweaks to suspension. I dont think theres any real reliability differences between the 2013 and 2017 onwards models. We had ours for 6 years and bought it 2 years old. It had nothing go wrong with it bar the radio dead on changing the battery - that cost me £500. These things are massively reliable. Bear in mind Ive had Lexus vehicles since 2004 and Ive not had any bills more than £500 on non serviceable items. (Actually I think the only bill I had was the £500 radio). My 3 RXs and IS were hugely reliable and our UX is also doing very well but its so new

Ive been using 36psi all around. The recommended pressures are too low IMO. They almost make the vehicle feel a bit wobbly

Yep map updates are free for the first 3 years. So if its over 3 years old they will no longer be free unfortunately. TBH Ive not updated my maps since the car was built in 2015. Roads dont massively change. There may be a few junctions missing but it wont make a massive difference regardless.

Pagid nowadays arent what they once were and I believe are owned by the same company as Euro car parts which is why they tend to try to flog those. Brembo is a good brand and does have better anti-corrosion properties. i.e. they stop rust better.

Genuine parts have almost always been more expensive than aftermarket though which is the same across most manufacturers. For example Mercedes filters are made by Mann but they still cost more. They're the same parts when ordering from ECP. I suppose you pay for the brand and in some cases genuine is the only way to go i.e. BMW screenwash etc

You can get different grade mats from carmats4u If you want thick ones they'll be £100+ The UX ones you bought won't be any different to the ones that come with the car. There's no upgrade unless you get rubber

Theres no colour code. Needs to be done by eye as already mentioned or the whole wheel painted.

It wont be the brakes. If you've let off the throttle and not on the brakes then its more likely to be the whine from the regen.
