  1. Absolutely stunning looking car both inside and out. Love the cream interior. Iv'e always been fond of the GS and in all honesty will probably be my next Lexus.
  2. Back in the day I used to get Kent fast road cams fitted to my hot hatches. Got an extra 35bhp from my ford escort RS2000. I wonder if these are available for the F?
  3. Yep there G spyders same as mine. Mine were in a dreadful state but had all 4 refurbished last year for 300 notes and they look splendid now. You really need to get the caliper pins lubes up. Trust me when they seize up they are a nightmare to free up. I ended up having to replace the housing on the rears and it wasn't cheap. Other than that it' a superb car. Enjoy 😀
  4. It will do next to nothing on an ISF. and the very small gains it produced (if any) would never be noticed. The ISF is a properly quick car as standard. Why spend a fortune in trying to make it slightly quicker. Some people are never satisfied. You can give them the moon and the sun and they would want the stars to go with it.
  5. About the same as me and the wife are getting from the IS250 during these cold winter months.
  6. Why upgrade the brakes on the IS250? I just don't get it 😕 I've owned a variety of cars over the years including bmw, Mercedes, Audi, jaguar. I can say without doubt the brakes on the IS250 are probably the best I've ever experienced.
  7. Totally agree with @dutchie01 regarding the IS250. By far the best car I've ever owned. Quick off the Mark, silky smooth transmission, ultra reliable and great sounding V6 when you put the power down. Simply can not fault this car. The worst car I've ever owned is also a Lexus but this time it's the IS220D. Absolutely dreadful and very unreliable. Massive turbo lag and mismatched gearing make it a chore to drive. I've never owned a car in my life that gave me anywhere near the ball ache the diesel gave me.
  8. Where you work our kid? I used to work as an aircraft engineer before going self employed. I worked at rolls Royce derby developing the Trent engines.
  9. You've been properly done there our kid. Seriously you've paid £6.35 for a dust cap.? I'd be fuming 😠😠😠
  10. Lovely looking motor both inside and out. The 600hl has always been a favourite of mine. I'm seriously considering part exing my current motor if I can find one at the right price.
  11. Same here when I took the wife's 250 in at Lexus Birmingham for the airbag recall. 8 miles had been added to the clock.
  12. I'm thinking the same thing. Im almost certain it's a sticking wastegate here.infact I can't think of anything else it could be.
  13. Only farting I hear in the Lexus is when my wife is a passenger 😆
  14. Come on Jack, are you sure this she you keep referring to isn't actually you? 😅
  15. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news old bean but it sounds like the head gasket has failed.
  16. I had the dolomite sprint in bright yellow. This thing could shift but very unreliable.
  17. I also had an issue with a stuck wastegate but it wasn't causing smoke issues. Instead of the turbo kicking in at 1800rpm like its meant to it was kicking in at around 3500rpm and dying off soon afterwards. Best thing I ever did was get rid of it. Honestly it was one thing after another. I've had British Leyland cars in the early 80s that were more reliable and I'm talking triumph dolomite and Morris marinas and an Austin allegro.
  18. Unlikely to be the MAF unless your experiencing erratic idle. could be something daft like a dirty air filter or even the plugs. I reckon a full service would put it right
  19. Gearbox. I recall reading on here a few weeks back an ISF member had a gearbox issue. Imagine the price of getting that replaced 🤤
  20. Personally I think the extended warranty is a waste of money as the 250 rarely goes wrong if ever. As honest John said, its' probably the most reliable car you can buy. Only problem your likely to encounter is the calipers (rears especially) but if pins greased every 6 months or so it eliminates the problem. Easy job to do yourself if your handy with the spanners, or take it to a local trusted independent garage like I do and they charge you around 40 notes. You won' be disappointed with the 250. Best car by far I've ever owned.
  21. Agree on that one. If the IS350 was available in the UK I would be the first to buy one. Awesome car and very disappointed Lexus never introduced it here.
  22. @Linas.P it's not worth responding to his posts. Anybody can see he's just out to cause trouble. I had an intimidating personal message from this guy.
  23. Erm no thanks @Rebecca I'm in no hurry to rush out and buy a milk float. 😆
  24. Perfectly normal for this time of year. Mine has always done the same over the winter. Nothing to worry about.
