  1. @B1 RMA David agree with you about the wheels the ‘other’ latest style is somewhat bland but would as I’ve commented on before would make a good easy clean winter alternative. Yes stay on the case with the paint damage it’s not easy or exactly cheap to rectify.

The dipstick on these engines can give an odd reading from time to time i noticed it on my old isF as well.

  2. @Ashrez All that sounds great the Toms stuff without question is right up there with the best with a myriad of choices, other markets are so lucky Japan of course the the States as well are all well served.

Ive just been looking at stuff on YouTube regarding this and a few things standout

. The Toms brake pads for the Gsf

. Their body kits as well are popular.

. The coil overs in this vid are popular in the states......

The spacer inclusion at say 10mm to give the car stance as well, something the Rcf needs as well.

Im still pondering on the bright window trim on mine to change to black it’s available and for Lexus incredibly cheap, you may want to enquire about yours as well if your contemplating the front, just to link it all in.

I shall watch with great interest you progress lots of pics as and when please.

  4. @gdh300 Glyn I always find these business relationships interesting as you never really know what goes on behind the scenes, and obviously for  commercial reasons they rarely let on.

Lets hope the motorsport continues work precludes me from watching it in volume even when I record great lumps of it !

Yes it’s a nice photo very dramatic

  5. @NemesisUK That one is pretty impressive, the demise of retail in this country means that the kind of shops where you could actually examine these things in detail prior to purchase are few and far between unfortunately.

Whilst in Australia back in May the Lexus dealer in Perth put me onto a specialist scale model car store in Jondaloop Mall, so whilst Mrs Rat perused for something called ‘ A Handbag’ I know I have no idea either I went to the store and was both amazed and disappointed as the range of stuff and quality was incredible, unfortunately 2 days before some Chinese tourists bought the complete Lexus and Toyota stock........... I sulked for the rest of the day 😟

I would say that i am a mixture of there two.  Always keen to read what is going on but i don't always feel that i have much to contrbute as a new thread as such.

On that note, I had somebody (or maybe two people) spit at me when driving the RCF the other day.  I say two people as what landed on the drivers door and window couldn't have come from one person.  Hey ho, at least it just washed off 😮.  Thats the first time i have had anything negative happen.

@Jon B Jon ah some lovely people about, jealousy I guess simple as that haven’t got the intelligence and or not willing to work for things themselves...... still come the revolution brother......:rifle:

  8. @Comedian As I understand it the BIF for company car users is a sliding scale for tax reasons the high the co2 the harder the chancellor hits them, there are those who want these type of vehicles for both business and pleasure, though I accept a GT ‘F’ may not be the first choice.

I agree with @Stuno1 the chassis and the power type delivery are there really look forward to the finished article.
