I ordered a new scuff plate for the drivers side as it had a few noticeable dents & scuffs on it, got the new one in the mail today & fitted it. If I can ever get the alloys refurbished, Ill have a good looking 9 year old car!

oh yeah, "OBD Eleven" does Lexus now, it used to be V.A.G. only. I had one on my old car, it was decent.

Id rather they ended production of the RCF & LC500 than put in a smaller engine with a turbo & only offering the hybrid LC would not sell enough units. Weve already seen glimpses of what their future sports models will be, so its the end of the v8 era & the start of ..whatever the new one is with fresh platforms.

Anyone managed to get their oem diamond cut alloy wheels refurbished? Ive been looking into getting mine done & it seems although various places advertise as doing diamond cut wheels, they REALLY dont want to..or maybe they cant, they only want you to get them powder coated, if I insist I want the OEM diamond cut finish, they dont want to know.

I seem to remember at least on older imports that Japan uses FM signal for satnav so its useless here. That was a 1999 Altezza.

If youre using the fog lamp as intended in super low visibility that makes everyone drive at a crawl, it doesnt really matter if the driver behind thinks youre a motorbike just that they see something ahead. It really shouldnt be used if you can see the regular tail lights of other cars ahead, for example if its not thick fog

I was ready to get it done along with the service & MOT but they had no parts, now when its not convenient they are requesting the car for the fix. typical.

F sport has sportier bumpers, different front grille, better brakes?, nicer wheels & has the sport+ mode that the non f sport dont have? Theres "yamaha performance dampers" front & rear too that supposedly help handling. Its a matter of tastes.

The new NX's ive seen this week all had 2 fog lamps in the bumper & 2 reverse lamps in the clusters. UK spec hybrid & phv, dont get the non hybrid NX in the uk so dont know. uk spec Landcruisers have 2 fogs for sure. I wouldnt worry about something I never see, I can count on 1 hand the amount of times ive ever needed to turn on the rear fog lamps (ie - when theres actually hardly any visibility, not just cause theres a little mist in the air like a lot of people seem to do) in 23 years of driving. No idea if my car has 2 reversing lights or not, just know that it lights up the area behind the car just fine.

Locking wheel bolts have started showing up now for 2023 nx pw456-00033 & if you didn't get a safety kit after the date it was required by regulations you can ask Lexus for one. Pw022-00061.

If you go to a car supermarket type place & are willing to part-ex or at least spend the money you get for it at their place, you could get a good price.

As long as you don't buy a range rover your chances of car theft are not that high

My rear tyres werent at the legal limit yet but after a week of unintentional slippy sliding I decided to get them replaced early, went with Goodyear asymetric 6. Its not a winter tyre but having extra meat on the tread & fresh rubber must be of some improvement.
