Hi guys how many use there 430 every day

When I had mine I used it more or less every day, it's the only way to travel.  Now I use my GS every day, still quiet, comfortable and plenty of power when needed, but the LS is in a class of its own, and as for the turning circle, how on earth did they achieve that!

It must have been based on a London Cab!

I drive mine most days, and whenever the journey matters - would use everyday except I have 2 cars plus a Sunday afternoon classic.

My 430 is used most days.   It's a great workhorse too.  I have a couple of retail shops and when needed can fit a lot of stock in it.

Been an LS owner (400/460) since '97 and they have always been my daily drive. They are wonderful machines, capable of prodigious mileage.........why would you want to drive anything else?

I have often pondered that question, given my 400 turns better than my sons 206.

As to every day use, been using this and previous LS every day for last 10 years, no other way to drive to work.  Sure it uses a bit more petrol than your average car, but what a way to waft to work

Rwd v Fwd, is the answer to the lock question, along with wider tyres.

My mate changed his beloved K reg, rwd, Volvo estate, for a fwd D5 estate.

He had it for six years, and never stopped moaning about it being a royal pain in the arse to park at Tesco, compared to his old one.

I've got a V70 D5 and although it's a great car in many ways it must surely have the worst turning circle ever.

Aye, that's what he had.

I had a Civic TypeR (EP3), that ran it close, but it was so much fun, I didn't care.

I’ve had a mk2 GS430, 2 LS430’s, a mk4 LS400 and now on my second GS450h, all have been my daily drivers. I too have found the turning circle astounding, my nephew has a 1998 Cadillac Seville STS which has a transverse V8 and fwd, as a result the turning circle is awful!!!

the turning circle on my 2006 SH - AWD Honda Legend is dreadful too  .....  notice it most when on the Starbucks Drive thru' .....  the first time i did it i had to do a reversing manoeuvre as I wasn't expecting such difficulties.....  the Lexus is a breeze ...............  not too sure about the coffee though !

Maybe it's the AWD set-up that's the issue. :whistling1:

Tulpen  that's brilliant, you learnt the lessons early on about sticking with the best car ever as a normal daily driving car ....  I'm only about 17 years into it :yahoo:
