Car alarm activated the other night, anyone know if the reason could be detected if plugged into Lexus computer?

Usually a bug of some sort. Have look around the car and the windscreen.

and if you've a centre console or summat like that ......  holding something metallic . keys, sweet tin whatever then that too might trigger the alarm ..  going from posts on the Ls400 section

Good luck finding the culprit

I had spell of 3 nights a couple of years ago, turned out it was a very small moth flying round the interior mirror when the street light came on at night. 😄

2 options, give the cabin a spray with bug killer and leave over night or you can always turn the interior disturbance part of the alarm off, before locking the car.

Not applicable to the CT200h as that has ultrasonic sensors in the roof rather than a microwave sensor within the centre console as found on earlier Lexus models.

I had a Chevrolet once (never again)....and a common issue on those was closing the door and pressing the key fob too quickly didn't allow the computer to carry out all of its checks.

I haven't noticed this ever to be an issue with my CT....but you could try closing the door...waiting 5 seconds...and then locking with the fob
