New Car

Ordered the New car today, Delivery March.

2002 Black IS200 Sport. Full TRD bodykit.

I know it's not much of a change, but the old one was 2 years old and the missus didn't want to change the colour.

Mine arrived this morning!!!! :D

I usually struggle getting out of bed on a morning - but imagine as I was hauling myself off to the shower - I glanced out through the curtains, to see a sparkling new IS200 in Strathcaron Blue sat outside ! The delivery chap had arrived early but was not knocking on the door until the specified time - what a plesent surprise to look outside and see my new car waiting for me! :D Certainly woke me up.... ;)

The Lexus is lovely - and I keep finding stuff I didn't know it had!! This is really sad though.... for a confirmed petrol-head who normally is most impressed by engineering and good motors..... the thing that has impressed me most so far.........

It is the headlamp washers that project out, do their stuff, then slide back in!!! lol

I may find something better impresses me once I am past running in stage!

BTW - I am really finding it hard keeping below 4k rpm - given I usually play in the 8k + rpm range, how long do I have to take it easy???

it's sad but I was impressed by the handle being on the inside of the boot so that you don't get your hands dirty (it took me 6 weeks to work out what it was for though - I thought it was for access to change the fog light bulbs!)

when i first got mine, my dear old dad had me do the headlight washer trick about 5 times, and every time he chuckled in delight...

then i drove him back to the 'home' :D

Masharp - yep, got pic.... b ut only with the digi camera and they are abit fuzzy - don't know why - had the camera about a year and have taken about 1600 pics using the same memory card and rechargable batteries - think either need changing or is the camera on it's last legs???

The new blue is very nice - lighter than the previous blue, darker than the one before that... nice. Just wait till I get the P21 treatment on there though! :smilegrin:
