will be staying in york for two weeks(phase 1 of the plumbing course) on the 6th june, need a b&b near to clifton moor, anyone got any recommendations..

u wont get one near to clifton moor, as clifton moor is just retail best bet is on bootham, rmember nothing in york is far away from anywhere lol

as such none of flats that friends own empty for more than a few days

so will look at B & B's, i know we send a few people to 1 so you want 4 weeks from 1st of August, will see what my mum can come up with then.

I've been using Smooth Hound for years. It lists hotels and B&Bs and is essential if you're staying in London.

Getting a b&b in york for a month in august could be a struggle :shutit:

May be worth seeing about renting a property, have a browse of this place..... Martin&Co

They specialise in long and short term rents

yeah there is....we send ppl to a b& b that also does evening meals for people who work with us.

they are like little mini apartments. dont know a single empty holiday aprtment at moment.

could see about student accomodation if u dont mind that? as most dont stay in york over summer?

i know of a pub that puts people up! Can't remember it's name right now tho, i will remember!!! (too many nights spent wasted under the tables i think !)

Depends on your budget, but if you head south on the A19 there is a loads of villages with hotels, B&B's for all budgets. About 20 minutes around the ring road to clifton moor. The nearer Selby you get the cheaper and rougher the people!!
