Finally Got One !

I've finally bitten the bullet and bought an IS200 SE - I pick her up from Lexus Cambridge on Saturday morning.

She's on an 03 plate with 20k on the clock, black interior with a Scarlatti red coat to keep her warm :D

Can't wait now - hopefully many happy years of motoring ahead. :D

Ive had my scarletti red is200 now for nearly two years. I still love it to bits.

Managed to get out of a meeting early and picked it up on friday in the end.

Had it for 4 days now and am loving every minute of it.

I have always been a stereo nut but damn the lexus system is good. I have never heard such a quality 'stock' system. Awesome!

Keep getting a few funny looks as a 23 year old in a Lexus but what the heck - beats owning a crusty beemer ! :winky:

Not the fastest car in the world but i bought it because it was nearly sensible, and has a certain charm about it - i don't want to thrash it everywhere anyway - would rather let people have a good look at it - I have been mostly using 6th gear in 30's - doesn't seem to phase it at all. :)

Yet to get some piccy's up as i'm too busy driving it !

Bloody insurance company added £25 to the premium for the inch wide plastic spoiler on the back though - wasn't too happy about that - makes it more 'appealing' to thieves apparently - insurance companies would take your granny given half the chance.
