I'm gonna leg it .....

Yes, it is feasable but a lot of work. You could get the basic system running ok But integration into the stereo, etc. would be a pain.

I can't see the receiver or remote in that lot. It may mean extra's you'd have to buy in.

Either way, for the housing alone, if it is in good condition then it could be worth it.

Cut out the blanks and put a 7" monitor in there ready for a DVD/car PC, etc.

If you are thinking about the screen, it may be worth just putting a 7" one in off eBay.

You would need to cut the blanks either side obviously with it being a 5" housing.

Just get the audio side then and you are made! It will work out cheaper that way. That is the way Anees has done his.

People with Satnav are stuck with RGB which is why it needs the converter. Put your own composite screen in a waheyy - you've got the inputs you need.

I may get a JDM dash tray and have a bracket for a screen. That way when I'm not watching it yhe bracket won't be visible and the wires will be nicely tucked away. If I also keep the oem lint trap i wont have any fear about cutting a few holes in the back of the JDM one for the power and video input to the screen.

I keep looking at the Pioneer AVIC-X1 but think it would look pap in the dash and the wiring of it would be more trouble than it's worth.
