Those silly fonts make it look cheap too .......... stick with std.

i have standard plates and they don't look good

and yes i do own the plate

IMHO:

Correct font & spacing

Carbon fibre numerals

Either Lexus or personal logo on the left

Lexus background (maybe)

Black border

Your own comment at the bottom

I have all 3 cars done in this style and although the plates are still illegal, they still look OK and don't attract plod's attention :D

I'd go for the standardlegal ones ...everything "customised" just looks ned'ish to me..

Each to their own thats what i say mate, its all about personal taste.

My personal opinion is like most others, stick to standard or something close to standard maybe design around the standard font with a border and logo or something or even a ghosted background.

I think it also depends on the type of car, like a fancy font on a little Fiesta or Saxo maybe more suited but a classy car like the Lex don't need it.

But like i said at the beginning, each to their own!

keep it standard because it will look better on a Lex - my gaps are misplaced and blatant but i've never been tugged by plod - you will with fancy fonts and keep the rear plate standard, only do the front one (my personal preference)

I had that style of plate, it looked really good on the car, not cheap at all, don't know where that came from Ahmed, but I did get pulled by the police and now have a standard plate :o

I had mine done by www.gtgrafix.com - their website is great. They claim to be based in Ireland (tax reasons i presume) but everything else points to them being Manchester based.

Next day delivery and reasonable prices - not the best though - but i think their quality and design variations make up for this.

Take a look if your after non standard/legal plates.

Personal plates are ok for simon ?? Xfactor, otherwise IMHO they be a bit pointless (unless one has a bird wanting one and the rewards may pay off!!)

i have never been pulled in my lexus regarding my number plate

i can say in liverpool the are pretty good they say as long as they can

read them there ok

I travel up & down the M6 M42 every day and have never been Pulled

Plates were made by Fancey Plates with Honey Comb background
