i bought springs that were ment to lower the rear by 50mm(mesured and it had dropped 45mm after run in) and front by 40 which it has done after run in with no mods and i'm running 8"wide 18's with a offset of 35 running 215 40 18's(slight stretch) can still go 5up with a full boot and have no rubbing.

I highly recommend a trip to WIM to get your suspension geometry set correctly, the lowering will completely destroy the settings. If you haven't been to WIM before then your original settings won't have been good anyway, the OEM geometry causes premature tyre wear and non-optimal handling. This is a lot more than just setting the wheel alignment, so specialised equipment as well as chassis expertise is needed.

Have a look here for more details on WIM.

Have you got a rough idea as to how much this stuff is likely to cost in addition to the £94 for the springs? Spring fitting, WIM working their magic etc

WIM charged me two hours' labour to fit my TTE springs. The geometry setup at WIM is around £100. Yes, WIM can correctly set the geometry with those springs on. Basically there's a limit as to how low you can go whilst still being able to "recover" the geo to the correct settings (i.e. before the OEM adjusters on the IS200 run out of adjustment), but the TTE springs are within that limit.
