right, this is getting very annoying,

paypal had stated that that there would refund the money as soon as the item has been confirmed delivered, ethier by me on the website of by Paypal themself.

Today I checked roymails website with ref number: DW788356181GB

if you check it, it states confirmed delivery by there office today.

Well guess what no sign of it, asked all family members nothing at all.

Rang royal mail as the signature will not appear, and there stated the surname signature was just a scribble starting with "Ba" and the place where you print your name its just "Ba", no one in family is even close to that, and none of the neighbours I know has such a signature.

Fourtunally, I rang paypal explained to the nice english lady (not indian lol who cants seem to understand) and she was very nice and professional and stated if this is case, the refund will not take place, even though royal mail have confirmed it.

She said she will email the buyer and get him to confirm to them the address it was sent and email me, to let me know to call them to discuss further.

this is getting from bad to worse....

I am very tempted to ring both of my banks on my paypal account, and ask them whether there can completly restrict 100% all ingoing and outgoings to paypal.

Is this possible?

recorded delivery signed for is a joke.. i often get things that require a sig just pushed through my door...

yh it would not let me as my account is in dispute.

I rang both HSBC and TSB, HSBC cancelled all authorsation for Paypal, and TSB cancelled aswell, only thing is TSB stated there would not permantly do it, as the direct debit mandate is between mine and paypal, so paypal have every right to resubmit the mandate.HSBC did not mention this.

So if paypal request money both banks will refuse, and paypal have the right to resubmit the mandate without my authorisation, which then takes 14 days to set up, but atleast this delays the refund if it all goes pear shaped.

I have the opposite problem on paypal, I recieved bad quality stuff and escalated it as the seller was no help & said I broke the fake item :o . I sent it recorded delivery 2 weeks ago I'm pretty sure they got it next day and paypal are still looking into it, so brilliant they said I had won straight away. Now I have no product or £40 paypal have till the 24th to send my money or close the case but I assume there just gonna send me the money back fingers crossed.

Good luck Asi, as i worry this bad seller will just close there account in my case :( If so I'm going to Leeds to visit him even though it will cost more in fuel lol..

this is the thing but did you leave him with positive feedback for the item you recieved?

the buyer in my case did leave positive feedback, then to only turn round and say its faulty and it does not switch on

well if i was you i would email paypal and go to them the buyer offically checked the product before left postive feedback.

yh i wrote that and told them that over the phone when discussing the delivery of the item, but i think its makes no difference as you are entitled to request a refund in 20 days i think

Oh yes I see sorry Asi lol.. Saraj keeps us updated mate, in my case I didnt leave feedback until I tested it luckily ;) sooo I've warned everyone about him.
