Auto Window Roll Up + Mirror Closer

Recommended Posts

hi guys looking for easy start on this. Auto window roll up and mirror closure. I have the required power control unit to do this mod anyone done it with pics? I seem to rememeber the wiring for mirror closure is on here somewhere but cant find window roll up. Save me digging out wiring diagrams and tralling through them some one tell me they have got pics !!

If not i guess its on me to do it with pics (wont be in so much of a rush if i got to do it not that important) lol

If you do it with pics etc, I'll be interested in copying what you do! :) I would love a full closure unit for the car, as the kids leave windows in the back down sometimes...

Parthiban has full closure (including the sunroof I think) on his IS, perhaps he can help?

Just sent a PM before coming across this thread!

I don't have full closure, just the mirrors and sunroof and it's Geoffers module so I have no idea what's inside it!

Nice one Lee, that's the thread I was thinking of that I mentioned in the PM, did Stav actually end up doing the full closure as per Geoffers diagram?

I have a module to control window closure. Bought it of flee bay ages ago. The wiring diagram listed on this thread will work but only when you press the button to fold the mirrors in. The control unit i have will work from the buttom on your key when you lock the doors. I going away next week but will get on it as soon as i get back and post pictures of course

I did indeed, tweaked it a little now so you only have to run one cable to the door but that designs works perfectly.

Geoffers design works when you lock the car using your keyfob, the mirrors reopen when you start the car.

So your possibly not reading the diagrams correctly as geoffers unit does the same as the one you bought,
