Emergency Pizza delivery this time - for S***y and the H***a lot (insert "amm" and "ond") Good bonfire.

Met up with Paul (Norkep) who was the only other LOC staying over. LOTS to drink (I think)

Fell into bed very late (early????.....)

Was disgracefully awoken at 6.15 by some utter moron we'd pitched our tents next to (he had a Calibra - who brought him?) He couldn't string together a word of more than 4 letters, but insisted his f'ing opinion on f'ing this and f'ing that be heard across the f'ing field. Matt asked him politely (honest!) to refrain but no joy - so I got up.

Matt however, slept until 9.15, :outforcount: during which time I polished his car (I know, I know.....) :withstupid:

After packing all our belongings (veeeeerrrrryyyy slowly....) into the Tardis that is Matt's IS, I (note, I, not Matt  ) drove off to our pitch, where we met up with the less hardy folk (sensible people probably) who came along for the day.

And the sun shone, and shone............ and shone some more.

We didn't bring a gazebo, so had no shade. Chris Shipley wisely stayed in his car quite a bit. Paul (Norkep) provided factor 35 for my boy, Daniel (thanks, Paul)

Loz came to visit (Can I mention him? He only brought his Charlie Romeo X-ray)

:zee: was runner up (boo, hiss, should have won ) in the "Other" category

Ifraz, Gus Woodcock with his beautiful little girl, Tash (2 years old), and a nice chap from Huddersfield made up the rest of the LOC contingent, although I'm tired, so I've probably forgotten half a dozen people who were there.... sorry

It was a super place for a big meet (my first multi marque meet)

Came away with a big smile, and a very red face - sunburned again.

Lots and lots of photographs - I'll put them on tomorrow

It was a really really good meet / event !!! Shame no more Lexi could make it. You chaps could have come and pirtched under our Gazebo for shade though - I stayed under there most of the day since I was already burned from the day before!!!

Dull and overcast saturday (so how come I got burnt???) but chilled and relaxed. Nice to get to socialise with Flame-R at the night time since I was 'on duty' during the day....... and the Pizza delivery boys down there have much posher transport than mopeds!!!! :P

Managed to off load judging onto some other mug - errrrr - a very nice enthusiastic couple with the best modified, loved (seriously) MX5 I've ever seen! ...... so today was spent hiding from the sun and chatting with fellow enthusiasts.

Great!

Very cool (but hot!)

Loz - you are a dude!!!! Thanks for being soooooo enthusiastic, nice to have you join us, hope the car carries on making you grin.

Really good weekend. I'm knackered now though!!

MsW - Really pleased you joined us for the saturday night social too - even if you did try to set fire to Richy's tent!!!

I must confess - I never heard anything from the Vauxhall-man - you must not have drunk enough!! ;)

Superb weather once again for my second JAPS event amongst all the other virgins!

Excellent turn out of Japanese cars including some amazing paint jobs and engine conversions.

Great to see the usual suspects aswell as some newbies - and nice to see some TOC folks turn up too. What happened to all you who had your names down?

All the Lexi entered the "Other Japanese Marque", and after a mild telling off for revving my engine in the arena (oops), I manged to bring home some silverwear for the club.......

Best Other Japanese Marque Runner Up!

Great laugh - BRING ON JAE!!!!!!!!

Congrats to Zee for winning an award.

Great to see Loz, Paul, Matt, Linda, Chris, Gus and Zee. Also nice to me Mike with his white IS300. Not forgetting all the TOC'ers as well. Had a great day...the weather was sooo hot. Is it possible for an asian to get sunburnt?...cause my forehead and nose feels sore :lol:

A most excellant meeting had by all, even with the sun-cream, till got a bit well done on the neck and top of the arms, gently with the shaver tomorrow morning. :nuke:

Me, Loz and Rhines had a play in Stoke after the show, showed a few boy-racers what a Lexus can do if put to the test, Loz "Little" CRX, WOW DUDE, great car - well done on that beauty B) B)

I slept in the car (as usual) but still time forgot the coat - Dam it was cold at 04.00, just started to stop shivering and the loud A** started on about what his version of the universe should be like, I think he was still pi***d in the morning but a lest they had the correct colour of a human being, Matt (Wilderness) dam boy, now I know what they mean by "life after death", he finally managed to regain some colour in his cheeks by the late morning.

The car looked good Lyn B) even though Matt managed to find parts you aparently missed, :offtopic:

Zee - Congrads on the award, ;) B) B)

even though if you hadn't made the WINE like a Wo**n, not sure they would have investigate what was making that noise :whistling::whistling:

Well, just walked in the door after Stoke, also just got off the phone with Loz who has only just left Stoke as he was having to much fun and found a new trick for the Honda which I';ll let him share....

JAp's was superb, I crashed at System G's place in Bruym last night after a few bevvies so was very worried at the thoughyt of such an early start, wehad the two MR2 rolling road block in action all the way, I wish someone was in front with a camera and were the first two to arrive :D

Great day, good turn out and good to see some more from TOC this time, the sun was unbelievable, red hair, no cream anbd I still haven't burnt a bit, just a tad browner :) :) :)

Stopke was nut's loads of maxed cars, loufd exhausts and the occasional bit of top totty (not meant ot be offesnive)....

Would love to go again but just to far a drive !

Loz, that new CRX goes like the puppies plums and the new induction sounds superb :D

Roll on the karting !

HOME AT LAST!!!!!

What a great weekend. I cant tell you about all of it for fear of causing offence but I really enjoyed mixing with "other" japanese car buffs and the specialist tweakers. Very minds broadening conversations about modding and maintaining. What a great festival.

Many thanks to Sammy and her friends who made me most welcome in the abscence of any LOCers on Saturday. Ultraviolet, you know the impact you and yours have had. Long may it last!

Zee, Congrats on your award! you deserved better but I am sure the judges just felt like the bigger plack would just have added unwelcome wieght to your ultra light and fast car. They were just thinking of you, buddy!

To all present TOCERS AND LOCERS. Well done for representing the finest tradition of any good car club. I'm sure there this was a grerat warm up to JAE!

As for Stoke. Well, Cars, Girls, and smokin' tyres! I made some new friends. one particularly close friend <_< :winky: And enjoyed a late night of exhibitionism. Paul, Chris, Ryan. Thanks for coming and I hope you enjoyed it. I think you set a standard that most there would struggle to attain.

Now its time for bed. If I had any pics it would be great to post them but my cam got nicked a few weeks back. So, I like you, will be waiting with baited breath!

Loz

Ask any racer, any REAL racer!

Fes(tival) Park at Stoke is the place to be on Sundays.

There was actually a Street racing event after Japs in nearby Nottingham. Never been to one and not sure how legal/legit they are but in might have been worth a punt...

Japs was a great celebration of all things polished and Shiny, Heck I even got a new knob!

And would anyone like to talk to Ifraz about how to guess young girls ages :whistling: :duh: :backofnet: She was a honey for sure and the RedBull Saftey instruction was also a most enlightening experience. I recomend it to anyone who is driving it home hard, late at night and running short on energy. It can give you just the jump start you are looking for!
