Hello all,

I'm Spidy

Just a week into owning a Lexus IS220 Loving it! Been reading the forum before I bought the car and after and now joining.

Thinking of joining the gold membership as its going in for a part service in Hull. Will it be worth it?

Done 73k last serviced @ 66k (full LSH). I'm getting 30mpg around town full tank of fuel lasted 340miles with 1/4 tank left and driving carefully, is that about right?

Hello and welcome to the club, Cant answer queries about your car as i have a is200 but i wish i got that mileage with 1/4 tank left .LOL

IS220d, you should be pushing for 35mpg, a lot of threads have been saying that the mpg on the Lexus are often difficult to achieve the official figures.

I'm getting just under 30mpg from my IS200 petrol, but mine is the first gen. I am very delicate with the throttle to try and get the mpg up as well, though.

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

I'm not sure if Lexus Hull give the LOC Gold discount but most do, I would ring up and ask them.

If they do ( they probably will) you get more than your yearly fee back on the 1st service even at 10% discount.

We also have our resident LOC parts guru ACLex at Lexus Poole who not only gives generous parts discounts but also offers mail order.

Welcome to the club. There's lots of help and guidance on here. Did a quick calculation on your figures and I reckon you're getting closer to 32mpg at the mo.

Been on the m'way today got it as high as 44mpg then hit the M62 road work and went down to 41.7mpg.

Only thing I found was it find it hard to pull at 70mph on 6th gear. Over all very pleased the the IS220 :-)
