Hi

I'm Scott from Stockport.

Currently own a 2001 Lexus GS430 Sport but will be looking to swap for a RX300 as I need something with more bootspace. Gutted to have to sell the GS so soon though :(

I'm not unfamiliar with Lexus/Toyota as I've owned several in the past. I'm also a member of mkivsupra.net and also own a 1994 Toyota Supra Aerotop that I have fitted a Lexus LS400 V8 into.

Looking forward to meeting and chatting to some other members! :)

The Supra has been sold now and it looks like I'm going to have to sell the GS430 :(

I really want an RX300 (I want to stay with a Lexus) as I'm moving tools around and could really do with the 4WD too.

Yeah - it's funny really as when we bought the GS my partner said she liked the RX that was on the forecourt too.

Supra is going in the morning. I think I'm going to cry!

Welcome to the LOC and good luck in your search for an RX. It's great to have another member from Cheshire on here. If you are ever passing J17 of the M6 do nip in for coffee. Just in Sandbach.

So the GS is gone now :(

But I now have a 51 plate RX300. I must say that I'm pleased with it despite missing two cylinders and the extra 1.3 litres!

Managed to get the price right down due to the front calipers being seized slightly. £30 and an hour later - overhauled calipers and perfect brakes!

No other issues and the car drives smoothly and pulls well :)
