Anyone know the cost and advantages of the TTE (top) one?

TTE Exhaust - sould improve performance but not as considerably as a HKS option (Hiper improves approx 1-8bhp, I would suspect the TE by 5bhp). Cost approx £250-£300.

Ian - Good post - Maybe this should be cleared of all posts and pinned........

Anyone know the cost and advantages of the TTE (top) one?

Not sure what performance advantage (if any)...

TTE claim reduced back pressure leads to an improvement.

Tail is single straight exit 102mm diameter.

Part code for purchase from UK dealer network...

PZ439-C0710-00 ( for standard rear bumper - ie without skirt )

£225.02+vat which equates to £264.40 inc.

This excludes any discount (gold etc) you may be able to secure.

Don't forget that the following HKS exhausts have been discontinued (although we still have some on order)

1) HKS Hiper Muffler

2) HKS Drager2

The above have been replaced by the following :

1) Legamax- 60mm pipe work, 106mm tail pipe

2) Silent Hi Power - 60mm pipe work, 120mm tail pipe

3) HKS Legal Muffler - 60mm pipe work, 100mm tail pipe.

Apexi also make :

1) Hayabusa

2) Hybrid

Mark :)

Hi all,

Just took delivery of my Altezza RS200Z this week :D

I already love this car...the thing is I think it has a HKS Hiper (115mm) muffler.

The thing is too loud. :crying:

I did some research and there are silencers for 'em but

I need to confrim that it is indeed a HKS Hiper.

Does the Hiper have any markings or distinct features which I can identifiy.

I see none from all the pictures I've seen.

Would be nice to know if any of this lot can be fitted to the UK spec IS300 too :)

I'm guessing that the front part of the exhaust on the 300 will be different, but I don't know about the back box etc.
