Clutch & Flywheel

Okay looking for options on the Clutch and Flywheel whats on the market that will work on the IS which ones are good and which can handle 400bhp? Any ideas much appreciated

When I looked about a year ago, the only lightweight flywheel I could find for the 1G-FE was the JUN one, which I now have fitted to my car. :winky:

Manufactured using forged Chrome-molybdenum steel

They claim it's twice as strong as the original.

With regard to your clutch, Helix do one. (as I have that fitted too )

I'd suggest emailing them for their suggested fitment, as they can recommend which type to use based on your torque output.

I think that the TDi fly wheel is the JUN one that Gord sourced - is the clutch the TRD one?

It will be stiffer. Hopefully not too much.

Well still looking at that but funds allowing and Xmas bonus time means that I may have both cars and mod the Lex but keep the RX8 standard

Only fits the 3S-GE Altezza. i.e. RS200, not the IS200 or Altezza AS200 :(

Helix have just emailed back to ask if we have a Fly Wheel we can loan them for 1/2 days - they are in the process of developing a light weight flyw wheel for the is200 and Altezza?

However, I can produce special invoice for custom purposes if required.

I am looking for a new clutch and Flywheel too. The only flywheel I have found is JUN.

If I change the flywheel, will that make the reves more responsive? I.E At the moment, when I rev the car, the revs move slow up, and slow going back down..
