yep it gets the area, but didnt show the map in great detail, about a 20 mile area was shown.

Who ever told you that the is200 in south africa doesnt use the 1g-fe engine is talking S**T!!! i was there not long ago and it was in the car i saw and all the info is on their web site. www.lexus.co.za robbie.

i had an interdemiate ( 30k) service the other day and that was $111, but i had an air filter as well £16 +vat, but you can take your own oil and filter and get them to use that so if ur cost wise it will save you a bit.

ill only answer the ones i can personally speak for: no probs with the indicators staying on unless it is a minor turn. auto means that you only have to touch the button once to get it to go all the way up/down u need to push/pull it all the way up /down for it to do this. as for the windows you have to close the windows as arming the alarm will not close them automaticly the gator squeaks often though mine has now stopped, i suppose putting some type of leather cream will stop it??

if you are talking about performance alone then it would have to be the subaru impreza P1., fantastic bit of kit. tad expensive at £30K though:o -

hi, nope the doors dont lock automaticly well not on the earlier models( anyone got a new model that has this?) one of the reasons i suspect it isnt on the european models is because if we open the door and fall out we are not going to try and sue someone for our stupidity!:wow:

i had this problem with a door speaker, after about 6 months i would hear a little rattle every now and then, it was just one of the speaker mounts that had worked loose- go to the dealer and get them to check it out as its a pig of a job to get to the bolts.

When you say turn volume up - how loud are we talking? and im assuming by cracky y mean things are vibrating? if the volume is at normal level and the speakers are crackly lots of hiss etc, do a quick check on the connections in the boot, otherwise go back to the dealer, you can get them changed under warranty if they are faulty. robbie

i have checked on this before and yes the armrest from the is300 will fit our car as it is the same tunnel cover, it requires the removal of the cover to do so but that would not be hard. But as of last week there is still no part number assigned to the armrest by lexus gb- so i have been told, but ill check today. cheers robbie

Hi all, just to warn you about an email that i recieved thru myTL email address ( NOTE: this has nothing to do with TL whatsoever!!) i recieved an email from someone thats meant to be in the nigerian goverment etc etc and they are trying to get $38M out of the country and they need my help to do so etc etc yada yada. you are given a tel number when u call they say they need some cash/access to your account to start the transaction thenu find that all money is gone from ur account. dont be tempted people it is a load of horse i thought i would let you know as others may have got a similar email. cheers robbie.

Hi andy, I had the alarm go off once on its own, i had a cover on the car and it was a really windy night, so assuming that withthe real strong gusts it set the alarm off, otherwise no probs at all.

yes you can, after reading thru the instructions, it appears very straight forward to fit the supercharger, there are a few wires to go into the ECU and you modify the engine splash guard but there isnt much in the process. robbie.

starter relay

well i dont know about the GS, but on my old car when the starter used to stick, i used to give the solenoid a little tap with a piece of wood and a hammer, used to work fine then, but the solenoid was on top of the starter, i changed it in the end, find out who makes the starter lucas etc and see how much one is that way and compare to the dealer. ( i am assuming this is what you mean by the relay??) -

its a complete load of arse, i will get hammered if it comes in. wait till someone takes it to the european court on freedom of movement grounds etc! sure someone will try it.
