  1. Try Autotrader with a different search radius. Here's some from near me, admittedly I had to put £8k and 60k miles but look at the third and fourth car - the colour is wrong on one but it shows the cars are out there somewhere. They are the right models as well as a minimum you should be going for SE anyhow. Autotrader Linky
  2. I've not noticed any appreciable difference but the A/C is working its nuts off and the consumption isn't going down so I'd say there was improvement there somewhere - just not seeing it on face value.
  3. Very nice - I'd get it away from those trees a bit sharpish though!!
  4. I've never sat in, driven or known anyone who's owned one. Still doesn't stop me wanting one though - I've always thought they were superb, and that one was/is in very good condition. Fast as well, but not exactly economical! The guy also might be an enthusiast as there's a silver one in the background too.
  5. But if they end up exploding all over the car then we'd be in a whole new world of trouble :duh:
  6. I've got the same but outdoors and have to say, I'm trying to think up excuses. I've not left the office since 7am and as it is at a pretty acceptable 21 degrees at the moment - going outside is going to kill me :o
  7. Strange as I got touch up in my 220 and my old 200..... I agree with Steve about the locking - big omission that one. My next item is I'd also like the mirrors to fold automatically on ignition on/off. Obviously if they included 19" rims as well that'd be nice :winky:
  8. I ordered in late Feb and got in May. It might have been here a bit earlier but I had to wait for my old company car to end its lease. I did try to change colour in the second week in March but this would have added 4 weeks to the date so the orders must have started to pick up from then - that or supply was throttled back :duh:
  9. The PSP is can handle a lot of different tasks apart from just playing games. as well as a photo viewer, MP3 player and wireless internet browser - it also plays films. Either on UMD (mini DVD type things) or as an MP4 file on the memory stick. All you do is connect the PSP to the PC and it appears as an extra drive - drop your (pre-shrunk) films on to there and away you go. The main thing you need is a DVD ripping/shrinking software to reduce the screen size of the film to match the resolution of the PSP which is near, if not the same, as HD TV res. I'm sure someone knows this for sure. A 2 hour film takes up about 300Mb hence the need for lots of or large memory sticks. I fly to Europe once/twice a week with work and am never without it. Make delays fly by, I've also got stacks of games which helps!
  10. Ebay is the best place for any kind of films for the PSP. I bought all the Bond fils for £4, and a disc with 100 others for £10. Never got any kids stuff however, but there are discs available. Just had a look now but can't find cartoons though It's best to check every now and then (doesn't help for the impending holiday however!) Also, if you need memory - source it from France. I was over there last week and a guy showed me shop prices that were 50% of what you'd pay on ebay here, even for 4Gb ones!!
  11. I couldn't agree more - taking the cancelled order is helping them out. Free wheels is the least they can offer. They may end up registering it and selling it used which will cost them a lot more money!
  12. [Lexus every time - the Audi's are end of line as well so value will hit the floor soon!!
  13. I'd consider it if I could see the traces of the power/torque curves. The power band at the moment is fairly narrow and there is nothing below 1800rpm, if this chip makes it more spikey then no chance, but if it can ease the power in from a lower rev I'd have it even if the overall figures didn't change. The engine isn't underpowered by any stretch of the imagination, it's just the delivery characteristics along with the ridiculous gearing need sorting - this may be the cheaper way to do just that.
  14. I've just bought a Kodak Z650 and photo printer bundle for 249 from Curry's and it's great. 10x Zoom 6.2 MP Also does movies (with sound) Recharges when docked on the printer Full auto and loads of manual elements (like a scaled down SLR) Link to offer package Link to camera
  15. Not sure how much to get it fitted properly, I got a twin screen set from Tesco for £140 and now have peace and quiet if we have a long trip and don't have to faff around if we aren't going far as I don't put it in the car. It'll also be still mine when the car gets swapped. Built in is obviously much nicer but this only takes a couple of mins to fit as I've sorted the wiring out and it sure is cheaper.
  16. Cheers Roonaldo, I'm going to have a go at this tonight...
  17. I have had the kit Lexus fit as standard fitted 'aftermarket' through work (a certain coloured mobile company) and it works a treat!! Forum link It doesn't come through the speakers but they do mute and the secondary speaker is in a safe position. Let me know if you want some proper pics top help you with your fitter. The kit I have is a Motorola IHF-1000, there is a cheaper version called an 850 but it loses some of the voice control which is very useful.
  18. Hi Katerina, The system is pretty simple (although I have had one fault due to external interference). The fob/smart key is all that's needed for entry and using the car, as the car is always searching for this to see if the user is nearby. For entry, this works best in the dark!! As you approach, the car senses your arrival and lights turn on under the wing mirrors to light around the doors. To enter the car all you need to do is put your hand in either of the front door handles, the car senses your hand and the car unlocks. Or you can press unlock on the key fob! To start, as long as the key is in the car, press the clutch down until the light in the starter button goes green. Press the starter button and away you go. To stop, press the starter button again. To lock the car, shut the doors and simply press the black button which is on the outside of the handle. Or press lock on the key. It really is simple, as long as your keys are in your pocket it's as easy as - walk up - pull the handle - press the starter and away you go!! Rich
  19. Just got back from two weeks away, have to say - no problems, Fired up first time, no chugging, smoke etc. I did notice the 'sensor' in the door handles had turned itself off though and I had to unlock it with the fob. Maybe yours stayed on and discharged it that way?????????????
  20. I worked for a marketing agency that did a profile of the typical Lexus owner in the UK (this is back when the IS had only just been launched, so mostly based on GS and LS folks). The profile was white, middle class, 50+ years of age, and fairly affluent. Victor Meldrew Glad I've got an IS then.............
  21. I have found this link from 2001.... Is200 Prices
  22. 34K?????????? Are you sure? the IS200's were around the 20.5-24k mark I thought..
