It was a tad windy in st. Helens on Saturday, so much so it blew the room off PC world. No one hurt but considering I am not a PC world fan made me chuckle. It is still windy today though and did not enjoy the country lanes leading to Altrincham.

It was odd yesterday walking round the city centre Hyde park and saw plenty of Mercs, Audis Beemers, ect but the only lexus I saw was in the dealer on park lane. I thought Lexus were more popular. Good to see they are a descret car.

Think it would be better to go 4 the DTM and beet the Merc and Audis and soon MG, or even the ETCC and race against BMW but not BTCC it is no fun any more, I wont even marshal it now i am board there but at least it is good to see lexus racing

Raz firstly you have been promised goods that have not arrived unfortunatly 28 days is deemed reasonable time so you will have to wait. Secondly Please tell me you DID pay with a credit card. if so after the 28 days have passed and you still have not recieved the goods you are within your rights to cancel the order under the sale of goods act as the goods have not arrived within reasonable time. If they refuse to hand back/ credit the card with the money, your credit card company is jointly liable under the consumer credit act. By using that you will get yoour cash back, it will just take a little time. Sorry to hear that you are being messed about as it drives me nuts when compannies do that.

Been with Telewest for 2 years now and they (like ntl:) keep putting up the speed. THere are advantages to Cabel DSL over ADSL and vice versa but best bet is to go off recomendations. Pipex has been one of best around. Whatever you choose you will be happy

my own view would be not to upgrade to 98SE but if you can go to XP. I only upgraded this year to XP 12 months after using it in work and truthfully in my 18 months of using I have had 1 crash, when I used 98 and ME all I got was crashes. You can if buying your router online from someone like Aria or Dabs or Ebuyer you can get an OEM version of XP\ 2000 which should be fine. A linksys router (a big IT company - they are Cisco systems ) should cost around £30 + postage or you can pick up a cheap brand router + adsl modem combind for a similar price. To buy a copy XP (should cost around £50 + vat for legit home version) you would have to buy a new mouse or keyboard. However you can just go to a computer fair and buy a copy there. Win 2000 pro will cost around £90 and again you would have to buy a mouse or keyboard. Hope this helps

rodders try these Cats protection league I would recomend you go to them they are a charity and do put the welfare of the cat first. They are good I have 3 cats all come from shelters 2 from the CPL and the cats do appriciate it. I would never look elsewhere as you can pay loads for a pedigree or pay a donation to the CPL and get a wonderful moggy. The only rules they have are the house must be visited before they let you loose with a cat, and the cat must be neutered. If you contact the CPL they will tell you where you nearest shelter is. If you dont have near by try the RSPCA for the same reason.

6 years sounds familier to me. Just because it is not on Experian does not mean there is not a debt against the address. THere are 2 other compannies equafax is one and I can not remember the third but if you do a search you will be able to find it and get your credit file checked out with them. In case it is a scam, go to the compannies house website and you can do a search on there to see if the Debt collection agency is registered there. It might also be worth checking old bank records to confirm full payment. It does sound like a scam though as most compannies are pretty quick in dealing with debt When I was hassled by an agency (due to U direct tv not taking the money out of my account) I had a lot of hassle. I even sent cheaques which were not cashed with one excuse being we never recieved it. Only problem was I sent it with a courieer so I knew who signed for it. They will try anything to get more money out of. It was not until I said I have made every effort to pay for the service that I will constitute non acceptance of my cash as a gift. Funny they cashed the cheaque very quickly.

I have been told by people in the games development comunity here in the North West that the game has been delayed. SCEE are apparently droping the network conection for it to try and get it out in time for christmas. Still want it and Need for speed underground 2 plus my new PC for Starship troopers. With all these games am I going to get any work done?

Simple it has not got a Microsoft badge on it makes it vastly superier even if the XBOX graphics engine is better.
