  1. I guess you mean 17" diameter and 10" wide not the other way round? ;) The wheels should fit - The sport had the option of 18x10 so 17s should be fine. 245 may be a little narrow for 10" width wheels.
  2. The actual roof lining can make a noise sometimes. It's held in place by velcro type fixings. Try firmly pressing the lining all around the sunroof area and see if that fixes it.
  3. I remember somebody posting the other day saying that Hatfield have the proper alignment equipment. The only thing I would say is you will be paying Lexus labour rates - normally 1 or 2 hours worth.
  4. The Tundra sells very well in the US
  5. Yes that what you need to do. Otherwise it will think it's much warmer than it actually is. You may find the rpm will sort itself out anyway. The ECU does tend to take a long time to adjust idle speed.
  6. You can put what you like on there but if you are changing the diameter of the combined wheel and tyre then your speedo and odometer will be out.

  8. Get a quote for the next two or three services from your dealer and see if it's worth it. Remember that if extras are required (e.g. new brake pads or discs etc) then they won't be covered by the pre-pay plan.
  9. If you have pots each side then I doubt it would have a floating caliper.
  10. People also have this problem on the IS200. Tank is 70l.
  11. Do you mean the air temp sensor rather than air flow sensor?
  12. Get a full 4 wheel alignment check by somebody who knows what they are doing.
  13. They will all come out as one unit. No need to undo the centre nut if you are not removing the springs from the shocks.
  14. You could always pull away normally
  15. What I don't understand is Toyota must know about the wheel problem so why hasn't it been fixed. My 1993 MR2 and Supra had the same problem, 11 years on and it's still an issue.
  16. The paint code is the paint code, same in all countries. The names are normally different in different countries and even between Toyota and Lexus brands. Never use names just the code. If you quoted the correct paint code and the product doesn't match that is because they didn't mix it correctly not because they are from a different country.
  17. May be difficult finding a used part. You should be able to order one from any Toyota dealer.
  18. There are not many rear-facing seats that fit safely into the IS. Always check with the seat manufacturer that their seat will be ok in the IS.

  20. Recalls are normally only because of saftey reasons. No manufacturer would recall their cars because some alloys may corrode. Most manufacturers wouldn't even swap them out under warranty.
