  1. The fuel guage uses the actual volume in the tank. Maybe part of the LPG conversion moved the guage over to read the new tank? The Sat Nav should be able to read 3.7. I don't think there are any backwards compatibility issues (there are with the early DVD based discs) so your old disc should also work fine. I would try putting in a CD lens cleaner and then retry the discs.
  2. I think we are talking about the in built factory fit sat nav control? If so a google search probably won't bring anything up. I would think the remote is the problem rather than a fuse within the vehicle.
  3. This is rubbish. If you go to court then it's variable already.
  4. All UK cars read over. At 44mph indicated the Sat Nav says 41mph on my car. The different wheel sizes will + or - a couple of mph at 80mph if the correct tyre sizes are used. Also worn tyres will make a difference. 8mm tread down to 2mm will make a couple of mph difference at 100mph.
  5. The UK GS Sport model comes fitted as standard with 18" wheels. The tyres are 245/40 ZR18. If you use that size then there will be no problems with speedo/odometer calibration, gearing or engine/gearbox ecu. Acceleration would depend on the weight of the wheels/tyres compared to your 16" ones although it won't make much difference.
  6. Well Toyota have around 40% of all car sales in Japan so I guess some people must like them.
  7. What sort of Potenzas? There are 4 different types ranging from the poor to the excellent.
  8. I think the Tein mounts are also available as a seperate item.
  9. make sure you release your handbrake when driving :o sorry
  10. Tein also do the rubber mount on some of their models (e.g. CS) http://www.tein.com/csdamp.html
  11. you would need to re-paint and re-laquer, may be difficult to get a match in colour.
  12. Do you mean LS400 or IS200 rather than LS200?
  13. Well I think it was helpful because it seems you were unaware they the bulbs you were considering are illegal for on road use. They are illegal because they are not EU approved and PIAA will tell you they are for off-road use only. You should tell you insurance company about any mods. They then decide if anything needs to be done or not.
  14. I've heard if you take a MKI Prius over 60mph the fuel consumption gets very bad.
  15. If there's more friction then the car will be doing less mpg. So more money to the government in fuel tax!
  16. If you are worried about clear indicators then I guess you wouldn't want to install illegal PIAA bulbs?
  17. I think the new version came out with the updated LS430.
  18. http://www.tdi-plc.com/is200.html Overal power gain is not much. But they should provide more power through the rev range and reduce fuel comsumption. Worth getting with a new air filter/induction kit and cat-back exhaust.
  19. Not talking about driving around with undeclared mods. Some companies like Elephant charge extra for mods to be declared so you are legal and have full insurance. However if a modded part (e.g. alloy) needs replacing then they will only pay for the standard part. Other companies charge more for adding mods to the policy but will replace like for like in the case of an accident or theft.
  20. Veilside are always a bit OTT. Their normal Supra rear spoiler is massive.
