  1. Do you mean the air temp sensor rather than air flow sensor?
  2. Get a full 4 wheel alignment check by somebody who knows what they are doing.
  3. They will all come out as one unit. No need to undo the centre nut if you are not removing the springs from the shocks.
  4. You could always pull away normally
  5. What I don't understand is Toyota must know about the wheel problem so why hasn't it been fixed. My 1993 MR2 and Supra had the same problem, 11 years on and it's still an issue.
  6. The paint code is the paint code, same in all countries. The names are normally different in different countries and even between Toyota and Lexus brands. Never use names just the code. If you quoted the correct paint code and the product doesn't match that is because they didn't mix it correctly not because they are from a different country.
  7. May be difficult finding a used part. You should be able to order one from any Toyota dealer.
  8. There are not many rear-facing seats that fit safely into the IS. Always check with the seat manufacturer that their seat will be ok in the IS.

  10. Recalls are normally only because of saftey reasons. No manufacturer would recall their cars because some alloys may corrode. Most manufacturers wouldn't even swap them out under warranty.
  11. No wheels are made by Toyota/Lexus or TTE. However the european option wheels are normally sourced within the EU and are better quality so hopefully the styling kit 18" wheels will be fine.
  12. It's worth asking. Normally if it is a warranty claim new wheels should be put on not refurbished ones. The problem is with suppliers. The GS series II sport wheels don't seem to have this problem - they are manufactured by OZ. Not sure who makes the standard IS wheels or the 18" ones.
  13. You should just be able to get the rubber for around £5 which hopefully is a stock item.
  14. see here: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...topic=13721&hl=
  15. TRD also do uprated springs and shocks. They state they are for the SXE10 and GXE10.
  16. Upload isn't increasing. Most users should be complete by the end of May. http://www.blueyonder.co.uk/blueyonder/get...page=bbs_faster
  17. The router is a wireless 'access point' so all wireless devices can talk to each other. If the PC is next to the router then I would use a fixed connection - easier to troubleshoot if you have connnectivity problems and better performance. Yes you just plug it into the cable modem - you would need to register the mac address with Blueyonder. Blueyonder are increasing download bandwidths to all broadband customers. Your 1Mb will increase to 1.5Mb :)
  18. You need to keep the blueyonder cable modem so you need to get a dual ethernet router Somthing like this: http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/in...oduct_uid=51436 PS has your Internet bandwidth been upgraded yet?
  19. No point in having a router if you don't want NAT, otherwise only one machine will be able to connect out. Linksys and Netgear do good home routers.
  20. EE means an error on both sides, EL is left and ER is right. You can reset the unit by holding down the power button for 2 seconds. Manual is here if you don't have it: http://www.tein.com/ti/inst/edfcu.pdf
  21. FYI, 1394 is an IEEE 1394 or firewire or Sony iLink port (whatever you want to call it). Normally used for digital video
  22. Are they around £300 + VAT?
