  1. It was easier than I thought. Take the connectors out of the back, then push the buttons through the front. Swap them around and reconnect the wires, remembering to swap them round too. I'll get the bulbs sorted over the weekend and . . . . . Don't look at the scratches on the centre console . . . .
  2. Rufus, one of the guys on the facebook site is selling an aftermarket backbox. £50
  3. Sorry to ignore your post. I don't have any advice on which are better. if you're looking at replacing, like for like, try some of the breakers.
  4. So, what is the consensus? Supermarket fuel isn't as bad as we think, but there is a mild improvement in Shell/BP/Esso etc? Choice comes down to 'if you're prepared to pay a little more, you may go a little further, but the costs will more or less work out the same? If you're collecting Morrisons, Tesco' Asda points, then carry on?
  5. Hi mate, i know this is off topic, but just a quickie. Is it not possible to put LEDs in the heated seat and TRC/SNOW buttons too? I'm with you PetayV8. My buttons don't like up when I put the lights on, but mine are to the right and the two heated seats buttons are next to each other.
  6. Hi, I can't believe I missed this thread the first time round. 45,000 miles and less than £3000. Wow. I'm thinking I should've spent a little more time looking round, but I'm not complaining. I Love my car and I like the way it makes me feel. You guys are awesome too. I like the practicality of the SportCross and the simple fact that the back seats fold down, because they don't in the saloons. Mine hadn't had it's cambelt done by the time I bought it at 125,000 miles, but it was definately more than luck that kept the engine from going. I got mine done straight away. I wasn't able to do it myself, so I went to Lexus. 6 months and 2 services later, I'm still loving this car. It's now got 136,000 miles on the clock and runnkng so sweetly. Theres a little rattle under acceleration , which reading some posts maybe a loose heat shield and the brakes squeak when their warmed up, but not under full depression, and not when cold. Lexus have looked at this twice now, and in the garage conditions, they can't seem to replicate the problem to identify the cause . . . Pads, discs, calipers, all fine. I upgraded to a standard set of 17" Lexus alloys, the same that you have as mine was using standard 16" alloys. I've kept these and will use them as my winter wheels. I'm hoping to fit some eibach springs to lower the car slightly for improved aerodynamics to help MPG. Other than that, I like the look of the car. I like Lexus' subtlety. Welcome to the club.
  7. I enjoy the knowledge that I have this power if I wish to use it.
  8. There we go, I managed to to do 30.7MPG this week, but that was with the aircon going. My average is still at 31.4MPG I need to try and get that up a bit.
  9. I think the LOC has links with opie oils? Check on the main forum page and scroll down to traders section.
  10. Thank you Scudney. Mine went 8 years and 125, 000 miles before it had its cambelt done. I'm not recommending it, I was lucky and got it done straight away when I bought it. Got mine booked in for its MOT on Friday 6th Sept. Full professional Valet as well and a courtesy Lexus for the day. Wonder if they'll let me have a GS . . . .
  11. I do drive like a grandad going to church. I get to the speed limit but am gentle in accelerating and braking. AirCon has killed me this month. Only 400 miles before the low fuel light came one. I'm gonna struggle to hit 450. Mine is a basic 2.0l not the the 3.0l, but with LPG, I thought you should be okay 30MPG. When was it last serviced? Have you had the alignment and tracking done?
  12. Welcome to the site. I've got no advice for the auto box. . . . Or the manual one for that matter. How are you doing MPG wise with LPG?
  13. I do not have a PWR button. . . I drive using the snow mode all the time . . So I have no PWR . . ;-) Also, the snow and TRC buttons do not light up. And don't make them and don't make them blue!
  14. Yeah, the servicing is a biggie. I picked mine up with 125, 000 miles on the clock. Serviced by Lexus Swindon up to 80, 000 miles and then a couple of times after. Get the info, have a look around it. Let us know.
  15. Sure thing.https://m.facebook.com/#!/groups/179809172041079?__user=670695117
  16. Possibly not, but no harm in making enquiries. Check out the price of the service for you as well. I'm paying for my 130, 000 140, 000 and 150, 000 mile service with Lexus Cardiff. The first 80, 000 miles were serviced by Lexus Swindon.
  17. Welcome to the club. I picked mine up with 125, 000 miles and found out that it had never had it's cambelt changed. . . I've had mine service by Lexus twice since January . . . 12, 000 miles this year already!?! Not sure about removing cats . . Check the exhaust is screwed on properly, but I don't know what to replace it with. Everyone talks eibach springs up as they work very well with the Lexus shocks. I would get some, but I've got a baby on the way and I need to watch the pennies. Check the facebook is200 page, as they like lowering and modding. Quite a few of us is200/is300 owners are on that page.
  18. Ian's house is an is200 graveyard, I think . .. though, I can't complain, I've had bits and pieces too.
  19. With the ongoing problems I am having with the AalinQ app, I am upgrading my Grom device to a Bluetooth Grom Device. Thank you Dean fron the Facebook is200 group.
