Best advise M8. Stay away from the diesel.. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk -
To be honest 420 is quite a bargain. Generally speaking, bumper damage works out between 1000-1500. Those are our companies figures. We shift cars for a living on Car transporters. Those huge ones that you see wobbling about with 11 cars on, down the motorway.

Is250 remap

Kaminet. How do you get a throaty exhaust, when nothings actually changed ? You've not changed out the cats for sports cats, nor a resonator delete, nor catback system ? Placebo effect M8... In all honesty you should have had the car dyno'd before and then after.. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk -
Since I had the trauma the other weekend with locking the is250c which I suspect was rf interference I've got a issue that I believe I've caused. When I now unlock the is250c, only the drivers door unlocks. Passenger stays locked. Can someone advise me on how to reset the fob/car so both doors unlock please.. Cheers Paul Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

I had exactly the same issue Sunday with the is250c. Couldn't lock it or unlock with fob or keyless entry. Now the plot thickens.. 5 of my neighbours are all having issues. 2 houses with wireless house alarms, 1 caravan with wireless alarm. 1 Toyota RAV4, 1 Mazda, 1 Citroen c1/Aygo and a Nissan quashqui and a Nissan van.. 6 households all within 350m having issues... Made some enquires to a very local radio ham to see if he was running on 70cm but he wasn't on. Asked him to keep a log as it looks like ofcom involvement. Thankfully all the neighbours have said we will club together to keep price cheap. Shepherd. Any success in solving this ???

The plot thickens... I've just been talking to one of my neighbors with a Nissan quashqui. His remote isn't locking or unlocking the car unless it's against the glass near the mirror.. new battery in his remote... It gets better. His neighbour with a Nissan van is also having exactly the same issue.. Radio interference ??? There is a radio ham in the proximity ?? That's 3 vehicles within 100 yards of each other all having an issue... That cannot be a coincidence ?? Your thoughts please Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

This morning went to the is250c and the car unlocked fine with the usual hand pressure on site handle. Went to petrol station. Filled up and came home. I cannot lock the car either by the door handle method or remote control.. If I get in the car and hold the fob to the start button I can start the car. Both keyfobs are behaving in the same way. Both keyfobs have very recently replaced battery's and have been faultless.. Please advise.. I'm really stuck with this. Cheers Paul Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Some time back I experienced something similar with my Passat. Every time I went round a roundabout I felt a draught. It drove me nuts. Turned out the glove box has a fridge.. there's a nob that you turn in the glove box which allowes cold air from the Aircon straight into the glove box.. I've not a clue if the Lexus had the same kind of thing but it's worth a look. Took me ages to find the draft.

Wobbly ride

Super smooth but not super flat. It's highly likely there is nothing wrong with your car and it's the freshly laid road that isn't flat and is undulating. M1 is like it around Nottingham. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk -
You are I suspect getting compression going into the water jacket. Hence it pressurising and losing coolant. The easiest way to test is hold the water pipes that go into the rad. If you can feel pulses then compression is getting into the water jacket . You might not get an oily ring around radiator cap or immusified oil.

So true... Even down to the interior. Same dash as a poverty level 1 series. Just a bit of carbon fibre sprinkled about in the posh ones... Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Ok I'm a bit lost ? What are you trying to achieve ? Music disk in dvd format ? What files are you using ? -
This thread is interesting. BMW... Now as a bit of background, I shift cars for a living. BMW... You can get in a basic poverty level 1 series or a flagship and bar a bit of carbon trim, they are pretty much all the same interior wise. You get in a Lexus flagship motor.... They are different from the run of the mill lower cost motors and feel really special.. Then there is the badge stigma... Would I have a Beemer... No thx, but then that goes for the mercs and Audi's too. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

No use to me when I hook up the trailer tent and head down to the south of France... Maybe Lexus self charging hybrid is the way forward in the short to middle term till ev's have a decent range. It will be interesting to see what impact these new grapheme batteries in the car ev industry Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

How's this huge price reduction on Tesla's going to affect you at the end of your contract ? They are nice cars. As you mentioned the Jag, reliability wise, and how jlr products fair in the JD power survey, I'd have thought the Tesla was the most reliable purchase Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

It's a long shot but a really cheap option. How long it will last and whether it will work or not, only a trial will give you that answer.. A graphene pencil.. rub it over the area that's no longer working... You obviously want the softest pencil you can find... https://youtu.be/BwKQ9Idq9FM Might be far cheaper than the excess on your insurance !!! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk -
Top Gear....does anyone bother watching it anymore?
Shaunomercy replied to superatticman's topic in Lexus Owners Club Lounge
Actually I've really warmed to the relaxed manner of Matt's presenting and think it's kinda got a bit of its mojo back, particularly after Evans. Sad to see Leblanc go after this series. As for the grand tour.. it feels tired and dated. Personally, I think the pinicle of Clarkson, may and Hammonds shows was the top gear special to the north pole.
