  1. Hi guys Got a few problems on the electrical front one being the heated rear window not working, press the on button and no click from the relay anyone know where the relay is so I can check it out? Others are fuel and temp gauge U/S suspect the faults are connected as they happened at the same time. Temp gauge does not move and fuel warning light flashes all the time, and yes there is petrol in it Any help much appreciated. TIA Neil
  2. Go back to the set up you had when it was OK and then see how you go. These cheap "performance" mods just don't work "full stop". All they do is what they say "fool" the sensor into thinking that the parameters are not as they are.
  3. Good call Stav. The 3S-GE has a MAF sensor and it is well worth giving it a clean. Have you got any mods to the car like inlet or exhaust? Oh and welcome to LOC BTW :D Well I do have a Next Level Perfromace chip that I got off of ebay (lame I kno) but I the problem did happen once b4 I installed the piggy bach chip ( but if seem to have worsen after doh) Recap - get that out right away, the car is probably running "rich" with that in.
  4. Yea I did clean the MAF sensor....problem happend 2 hrs after I did! Easy to damage the wires in there so I would go for a new one first off.

  6. Tezza is different, the A/T has two O2 sensors the M/T only has one.
  7. On older models the tray just pulls out like yours, not sure of when the design changed though.
  8. I just got the standard centre section on mine. I believe that the canister is a resonance chamber that absorbs pressure waves keeping the overall noise level down, but stand to be corrected.
  9. Reverse of that is the momentum of the rims and tyres would be a tiny bit more on the run down and the dyno would cancel that out anyway.
  10. Now I am "South of the border" it will probably be the same as last year. Couple of "drams", a bit of Jimmy Shand, call the family after "the bells" and bed.
  11. Bookmark them and file under "for future reference"
  12. 360ish here :P That Aussie guy has to be in the lead, not sure if you saw it but he did a 2JZ conversion and it must be pushing four figures soon - scary stuff! Nice!! You ever change anything to improve handling Aido? He went on a diet once
  13. Ladieees and Gentlemen, in the blue corner we have Fargo representing the PC and in the red corner Tyger fighting for the Mac Welcome back mate :D
  14. I've been using easyspace.com for a few years now with no problems.
  15. Not surprised you only get 24 on the Motorway mate, you were spotted last Sunday by my Stepsons on the M1 near MK Have you decatted as well Noel? Thing is that "power is the rate of conversion of energy", or our case "how quick can you burn petrol"
  16. Gets worse as I only do local "running around" at the moment and it's down to about 20mpg, best I had was about 27 on a long run. Still fun when you blast it, but an Aristo would cost about the same to run as the Tezza, not as good round the bends though
  17. Any ANPR systems that I have worked with don't take a picture as such. The "image" of the car is processed and the number read, the only part saved by the system is the number.
  18. Take it the question is for insurance, if so tell them it is "Factory Fitted". I would agree with stuie that it is probably cat 1 as I assume it is alarm and immobiliser.
  19. Hi and welcome to LOC :D The Qualitat has the Legana bumper so fogs are different to the IS. As said above, if you want more light on dipped beam fit a HID kit.
  20. The Altezza RS200 is also about 100Kg lighter than the IS200. As said parts are not difficult to get body, chassis, brakes and suspension parts are the same as the IS200 and the short engine is the same as the MR2 and also some Celicas. The head is however unique to the Tezza. The reduced weight with higher power and torque makes the Tezza a lot quicker than a stock IS200. A lot of the reduced weight comes from less sound insulation so the Tezza is less refined that the IS. Fuel consumption is dire on mine, about 23 to the gallon at best, and with a 60 litre tank the range is a lot less. So you "pays your money and takes your choice" I guess.
