Ultimate Garage

Had a discussion with the girlfriend over the weekend (she likes talking cars!) about what cars would make our ultimate garage. We made some groundrules to stop our minds running riot.

Four cars allowed:

1) Family car

2) Sports car modern

3) Classic car

4) Any car you fancy

To starts things off - my choices

1) Audi RS4 or if Lexus produce the IS500...

2) Lambo Murcielago

3) Jaguar E-Type I or II Series

4) Aston DB9R (I'm not greedy :D )

Apologies if this kind of post has been on before.

What I would choose to live with based on real advantages (not rested Laurels or brand imaging)

1. New Range Rover (supercharged model).

2. Aston Martin DB9R

3. Classic cars are rubbish and will be scrapped by compulsion when I'm PM :tomato:

4. Ferrari 360 (not F1) and the new Aston Martin V8 (I'm allowed this because I didn't choose a classic car) :P

OOOH! THIS string will run and run!

Family car? (Excluding LS 400?) Citroen DS 23 Inj Semi-auto.

Sports? Citroen SM (both latter completely upgraded/rebuilt of course.)

Classic? Traction Avant 6 cylinder version.

Ultimate car? Citroen Mehari in Andalucian house overlooking the Med!

:offtopic: but I don't care..it's my thread! It's not the wealthy that are the focus of my rage, it's the vulgar wealthy and those in positions of power that abuse that power (whether wealthy or not). But that is a discussion for another thread!!

Not a dig at your thread mate. We can all day dream.

The vulgar wealthy lol the scourge of society. String 'em up.

No offence taken :D

I'm wondering why Chris has a hard on for Citroen today - could it be the re-discovery of the Citroen SM (or should that be S&M) following the Honda thread! :winky:

There is another way. It is possible to use these issues to your advantage rather than disadvantage. Is your glass of JD half empty or half full :winky: ?
